Once again, no date set yet for 2007 LOSO, and if you read the other thread, I am considering an A Tier Pro/B Tier Am tourney. But if we keep it as a two day tourney, would you be interested in changing the format to a pick your own partner doubles tournament. World Dubs is moving to Wisconsin next year and many of us look forward to that tourney each year at Wimberly or the Rock. Texas State Dubs will probably draw a larger crowd as a result due to World Dubs moving, and it will be at Dripping Springs sometime in the early Spring I imagine. I always look forward to playing in sanctioned doubles tournaments and usually have a much better time that in singles. Since we are essentially losing an opportunity to play doubles at Worlds unless you travel up North, and you find a partner who can go, and you pay for airfare or gas, room and board, etc. would you be interested in changing LOSO to a dubs XB format?

Why not have them both, a singles event and a later day of doubles?
