I will be visiting this week to NYC. I noticed there is an object course at Prospect Park. Are there any other object courses in other parks? Flushing Meadows or Central??
If the course is "underground" and not for the unwashed public, that's kewl. Just PM me and I will keep the secret.
Thanks,

Ron,
You should definitely take advantage of the website and contact listed on the PDGA Directory. You could probably play the course OK with the map from the website, but you'd be much better off arranging a round with "Mel" who is a heck of a nice guy and would no doubt love to give you a personal tour.
If you have the chance to rent a car and get out of the city, I highly recommend it. There are several world class courses within an hour from the city. The closest would probably be FDR State Park, just off the Taconic Parkway north of the city. A little ways from the Tappan Zee bridge is the Campgaw Reservation course which plays up and down the side of a ski slope! It's outrageous. But the "big daddy" of them all is in Warwick, NY which is one of the best disc golf courses in the world. It is not to be missed.

They forgot to tell you, during that round they asked 1019 people to step out of the way, stepped in dog doo 839 times, were mugged twice, and had to stop after 6 holes because their discs were stolen.

Jeff,
Thanks for the info. I wish this was a disc golf trip, but no. I won't be able to get away from other obligations to make a day trip.
At best I might get away early one am and get in a round. I'll be staying with my daughter in Forest Hills, so Prospect Park isn't that easy to get to. I found the website with the map, and the course looks do-able,although a round with Mel would be the thing. Just have to see.
Thanks,
Ron
