I admit it. Love the show. Can't get enough of it. I have the first 2 seasons on DVD and listen to a couple Lost podcasts during the season.

If anyone is "lost" on LOST, PM me and I can hook you up with the DVD set. It is a tough show to watch if you didn't start from the beginning.

1st episode from season 3 starts Oct. 4. Can't wait for it.

Wanted to watch the series initially. Missed the first and second episodes due to whatever reasons. Tried to watch the 3rd episode, but was "Lost" in the storyline. Haven't seen an episode since. Besides...Wed night mini's are more important...guess i should have DVR'ed it from the beginning.

I absolutely hate anything on t.v., with the exception of PBS. Lost sunk it's teeth in my sexy white arse the first time I watched it. Have not missed an episode since.
Does anybody remember the episode where Hurley was having his issues, and having flash backs to the mental institution? I have this crazy feeling that the show will end up back in that institution.

I missed the first season and then went and bought it and watched it in like 3 days. I've been hooked ever since. So sad Ana Lucia was killed off she was hot and one tough cookie.

Every time I try to speculate on where things are going I am completely wrong. All I know is that Dharma is a biotch!

Whats up woth the creature that killed the pilot 1st season? Where did it go?

I believe that " creature " was a polar bear. It has yet to be seen again!

No polar bear because Walt has been held capptive. It was a Jedi mind trick by the young padawan.

Don't watch Lost, but have a Disc Golf/Lost story. Well, we are in the middle of a tourney over a year ago waiting for the group ahead of us to complete the hole. Someone mentions Lost and Joel Kelly starts to talking. He can really get into his stories, and no lying, he ran us through the entire first season of Lost, with all the details. A couple of us started laughing and he snapped out of it. We said, "it's your box, and the group we were waiting on is now two holes ahead of us." :D

Freakles looked hot and vulnerable in that summer dress they made her wear!

Oct 05 2006, 10:59 AM
That was the highlight of my evening, the dress that is!
The things I would do to her............................

I am glad the season has started, but I still hate the way they leave you hanging! All that crap about Jacks obsession with his divorce was a little, BLAH!

I've tried to watch the show but its just too **** confusing. First they're on the island then they have a flashback. And i wathced part of it last night and everyone was all locked up and stuff... weird

"WHO IS HE?"

He is someone who will be integral to Jack as LOST untangles.

Really cool start to the episode. Plane dismemberment was awesome, as was the directives of KOTO (King of the Others).

Juliet is a great character. The escaping kid was a plant. I am sure of it.

For sure, It was a test for Sawyer, as was the " Fish Biscuit" .
I still want to know what is going on with the chick looking for her boyfriend.... Remember the end of last season , the people in the arctic tundra that spotted the power surge from the island....

They had it backward: Freakles should have given Sawyer the "fish biscuit". :p

Man am I trippin or is Juliette the same chick that was there in the artic tundra? (Desmonds girlfriend)

And does anyone remember what happened to Desmond? I dont think there was resolution to that one at all, I remember he went under the hatch but I dont remember him being dead.

Juliette is not the same chick as Desmond's girlfriend.
According to EW, the fate of the three in the hatch will not be revealed until the third show of the season.
Kate looked good in the dress!

Desmond's girlfriend was one of the girls from the british show "Coupling". Great show if you are looking for good sitcoms. You'll find reruns on BBC America every once in a while.

Her name is Sonya Walger.

She was also on a good little HBO show called Mind of a Married Man.

Oct 08 2006, 10:14 PM
Yeah, LOST freak here also!!!! I have to agree though, freakles did look hot in that dress (like she always does), but anyway, I have always wondered if Jack killed his father??????? Could be a possibility.

Well they can leave the island any time they want...... So much for the after life theory.

If they are so lost why don't they just ask the camera man and make up artists how to get home. I'm sure the producer probably knows.

3 months til the next lost? WTF that just bites I put up with this crap last year. I wish the unibomber could send these ABC execs a care package.

Hopefully the 3 month hiatus is for freckles to do a playboy errrrrr high society centerfold.:cool:

I was a big Alias fan and they did the same thing with that show. The thing I will say in retrospect is that waiting until February and not having to see repeats or skip several weeks between new eps it is nice to catch them all at once like that..

dannyreeves
Nov 09 2006, 08:35 PM
Yeah it doesnt matter. There are 24 episodes a year. If they ran them all in a row, we would have to wait 28 weeks between seasons. This just splits it up a little bit.

Wow, that last episode was SICK! I am gonna be going crazy for the next 13 weeks. Here is a link for February's promo: http://rapidshare.com/files/2615824/2-7-07.zip

Oh yeah! Lost is the one and only show I will tape because I can't miss it. I actually can't wait to sit down and watch it on Wednesdays. If I'm playing league on Wed I usually suck cuz I'm just hoping I get back in time. I never watched the first season, but wound up catching reruns of it over the summer and have been hooked since.

This 4 episode season opener was more of a tease than anything, they barely covered anything from the huge mess that unraveled in the finale last year - what about the arctic circle jerkers that pinpointed the magnetic anomaly?!?! I thought another freakin plane crashed again in the finale when the magnetic field was discharged - or am I losing it???? It does frustrate me that they show these weird coincidences about how all these peoples lives are intertwined, but don't get back around to it for months! Like, do you remember an episode with Hurley in the insane asylum - that chick that he liked (who was shot) was in there with him! When are they ever gonna get back to that?! This season has been too many flashback character development, which bugs me because it's mostly left open ended as how it relates to them being on the island.

Yep, I'm a Lost freak! I hang on the edge of my seat and get so hyped about the upcoming scenes from the next episode. You've got to store a whole lot in your head to remember things and pick up on all the subtle hints and clues in each and every episode. Most people don't like it because they don't have the attention span - it's definitely a epic series, not a single episode for casual viewing.

Just starting Season 3 which is where this thread ended..

What a show..wow. I watch very very little TV, but I've been hooked on this since renting from Netflix. It's wasted days of my life, but worth it, me thinks. Hopefully by next week I'll be caught up..which is also going to suck to not have the luxury of watching a few episodes in a row when things get tense. I'll have to wait a week (or more) like the rest of the world has watching on TV (with commercials too..ick!)

Okay I will admit it, I am a Lost freak as well. It has me wrapped in as hard as Twin Peaks ever did (for those of you that missed it, another very good, somewhat random at time show from days gone by). It is killing my wife this year, she cannot wrap her head around the mix of flashups this season (as opposed to flashbacks).
