$5.00 late registration fee will apply for registrations taken after November 3rd. Add $5.00 for non-PDGA members. Field limited to 90 players. DO NOT ASK ME TO "HOLD YOU A SPOT". I WONT DO IT! There will be a 1 hour lunch break in between rounds each day. Awards will be presented after 4th round tabulations are done. Waiver forms required. All PDGA rules apply.

We have come up with a new fundraising plan this year.
Sponsor an OB! only 18 available
for $20 there will be a random draw. Your name will be thrown into a hat, and you will will be drawn with a hole # at the Richlands course. If the hole that is drawn for your name receives the most OB stroks on the final day, you will win a 2007 PDGA membership, and a collectible disc TBD (hopefully a CE Roc of some sort).
For business sponsorships, we are offerring hole sponsorships, and tshirt sponsorships.
You or your business can sponsor a hole at one of the courses for $25. Or you can sponsor a hole at both courses for $40.
If you would like to be on the tee shirt, the sponsorship will be $100, with a logo submitted. This will also sponsor a hole at each course.

A fundraising poker tournament is in the works as well. I will keep you posted on that.

There is a monthly @ richlands the Sunday before the Fall Classic. Come on out and get your warm up rounds in.

Sorry you can't pick which hole you get. It will be a random draw. And make sure you draw your circles on your card when you go OB, so we know how many OB strokes were taken for each hole. Good luck.

The last one I attended at Jacksonville/Richlands was a class act. Yourself and Mo did that one up right baby. Wish it was this weekend though, since I dont have anywhere to go. Cornwallis maybe. Do they still have a monthly there anybody? How many spotters are going to be at Richlands to watch OB, and give location on missing discs. To go OB at Richlands is like **** I went OB, again, oh well. Looking forward to this one, its a great experience. Could I possibly birdie an 87ft hole?umm.

Mrs Scotty is off from cookie baking duty till next year. As far as aloha cookies, you will have to wait and see.
The Knapps always run top notch quality events that should not be missed. One of my top disc golf highlights was getting my first pro cash at a Knapp brand event. Very sweet.
I agree with Scott that the Mrs do way to much for it ever to be just a Scotty event. We both are blessed to have such great wives.
I really doubt I can play in this event (have to take merchandise back to Innova), but I should be out there on 16 on Sunday spotting (and maybe giving candy away)

Ttottally agree(hey Schweb), the knapps run a great event. I played one of my first tnmts at Jacksonville. It was very cool, and ttottally impressed with all the work that goes into this event. Mo out there 8 months preg still by his side, it was pituresque. Scotty glad you will be there, those spotters are priceless, and a must for this one.Team FFF will be present, and OB. Dawn is looking forward to playing with all the women she missed last week at DEPC. She will be surprised with all the OB.

One Moe is up in the air right now. The Knapps cant run it. I have lower level panthers vs. steelers tickets. I have talked to a few folks who have expressed running it. Any others willing to take the reigns for One Moe, step right up.

Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me. Just let me know. I will say that running 2 events in a weekend wasn't so easy. But it was pretty much just Moe and I, and it was out of town. When we decide, we need to go ahead and send in the sanctioning agreement.

Instead of running a doubles on Friday night, we will have a fundraiser poker tournament. It will start at 7pm friday night. The entry fee is $10, with lots of great prizes to win. The field will be limited to 24. Should be lots of fun.

Thank you guys. Make sure that everyone uses circles on the scorecards when taking an OB stroke. I am going to total up the circles to detirmine which hole took the most OBs.

Ok so heres a nice long story for everyone to enjoy. Due to financial slack and plain laziness on my part my car has a broken blinker and therefore cannot be inspected. So i had planned to finally break bad this weekend and pass up playing the tourney to use the money to finally get my blinker fixed and inspected before i got one of those fun $250 fines in the mail.

I hope all enjoyed paragraph one.

So obviously i was dissapointed that i couldnt play this weekend being its one of my favs to play, and i seem to place good in whatver division each year. So thanks to the DMV sending me a nice piece of paper in the mail today i got extremely worried that i was to late and that i was gonna get fined. But it was like Christman morning when i opened the letter and Read the following words. Please be sure your car is inspected by 1/1/07 or you will receive a fine.

Paragraph 2 was fun. Does anyone know where this rambling is leading yet?

In conclusion.

I have 2 months to get my car fixed. and plently of paychecks between now and then. So YOU GOT IT , I WILL BE PLAYING THIS WEEKEND BARRING SOMETHING BAD COMING UP. see yall in Jax/Rich

How's the weather down there fellas'?! Hope it's nicer than it was here in New Bern today. @ 5 am when my dad and I took off in the boat it was 35 degrees with 15mph winds. Going down the river doing 50mph made it probably the coldest this WOP's ever been. Hope you guys enjoy Richlands tomorrow, COME ON WIND!!!

Had my first pro cash here, and 3 straight 3rds in Knapp events, would be 4 straight if you ran kinston this year. Yes MiTTchell, I did win another Knappy Brand EvenTT. I shot TThe lighTTs out 2day. -14 and -13. It was another good day. I love these Tournaments.

Sorry for the delay on scores. We went and had dinner at Moe's parents house. Then we got home and realized we didnt save the scores from last night, so we had to redo all of them. They are up now though! Thanks everyone for coming!

Also, Schweb set a new tournament record for The Fall Disc Golf Classic shooting a 178. The previous record was a 183 shot by Schweb and McRee.

Is there anything that Schweb did bad this weekend? Did anyone see him maybe trip over himself or maybe drop his mini one time. Oh, I saw him miss a putt once. HA.

Knappy the ratings are off, my round needs to be 1000 based on the principle that ive never had one and i believe my rounds should be rounded up, just cause my White Pants sponsors promised a rating boost in my contract

Big thanks to the Knapps for another great event, proud to take part in it. Richlands is a crazy place, some of the back nine has become a not so easy hyzer shot with those 30+ ft pines along the fairways. Low and straight was the key. Congrats to all the champs and I'm enjoying my growing rivalry with the GVDG boys in all these great DOWN EAST events. Hope to see all at One Moe!

Scotty Faison wins the OB sponsorship prize. He drew Hole #16 which took 70 strokes from the players on Sunday. Dave Springer who drew Hole 5 was a close 2nd with 67 OB strokes. All together, there was close to 500 strokes added to the field of 71 players.

Thanks for all of the hard work to Scott, MOE and all of the OFDA crew. It was good to see the club members so active and each doing jobs across the two courses. They also did an incredible job raising money for this event! It was a great weekend that was enjoyed by all, regardless of how much OB was taken. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon at the One MOE, Three MOE, MOE-JOE? Fo-Sho! The Moe will make two years that I have been playing disc golf....I would have never imagined how much I would be enjoying this sport and the people that play it.
