Just noticed that there are over 200 Yahoo Disc Golf groups, but many only have a few members or posts per month.

Are there any clubs that make successful use of yahoo groups ?

The Minnesota Frisbee Association (mfa-online) is the second largest with 371 members. Our PDGA thread isn't used very much and neither is our website (mfaonline.org) discussion area. Most of our action is in the Yahoo group with event flyers and schedules placed in the FILES section for people to download.

I've seen this one for central Texas (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/cenraltexasdiscgolf/) , maybe if a few people get it going, it can handle the tournament flyers and notices.

If it's possible, adding a "t" to "cenraltexasdiscgolf" might help.

I didn't start it, I just found it.

It looks like an easy change for the owner of the group.
