The event went great the weather was awsome..I hope all the players enjoyed the course.A special thanks to Filepe and Tim S at innova. All of our sponsors allowed us to pay out over 100% in every division.Innova,Riverside golf club,Revoulition Bags,Bite shoes ,Whammo,Spy optic,Prana, Dga,city of riverside,Fly 18 me Sun King,Emerald Isles...With the success of this event, there will be more, for fly 18 across america... There were no ropes here, just golf the way it was supposed to be played.Good design needs no gimics...The scores show that. Thanks to the women that were up to the challenge..Some how I finished 2nd in masters. Our HB boy Robert Mcinte tore it up, to take first place, $400 and $100 pair of shades.Steve Wisecup took first in masters, I did play with him the second round, what an all around player, and gentelmen ,he also got hot round with a -8 and a pair of spy glasses..I am sure if you look at the payout ,on a golf course, that did not shut down golf ,with golf carts for everyone ,breakfast and lunch, and the BAR....You might consider this venue next year. The player got the best warmup for USDGC Go Robert, and Philo.Westside blood....I am going to take the day off my work is done....Fly 18 building the future for our sport...

Congrats on running what looked like a successful Fly 18 event. You might want to check out your par settings since the scratch course ratings came in around 64 on average. Perhaps you'll find a handful of holes that ended up being tweeners once you analyze the scorecards. Unless there are lots more downhill holes than uphill, the total length seems too long for the course rating. I'd consider checking the hole lengths just to reconfirm.

The Am ratings seem pretty high, concidering the tees were alot shorter. The Am layout was not 12,640. The Pros ratings seem overall pretty low. Could they ratings have been calculated as playing the same layout?

Looks to me like they are correct now. I didn't realize that the original posting had blended together the rounds from ams playing the shorter layout in R1. With an SSA of 66 for the long layout, the numbers now look pretty good and maybe only a few holes will turn out to be tweeners. The length now looks more in line for a typical wide open course in relation to ratings for that length of course.

There are 2 sets of tees on every hole both par out at a 71.The adv ams shot white tees first day blue tees second day.On the first day all scores reflected a par 54 course rating when it was a 71.All holes par out correctly. This is no par 64 course. The event was very successful.I look forward to a bigger one ;)

This is no par 64 course.

But maybe not as high as 71 but that's why you analyze the numbers to check it out.
