I'm a freak.
I putt with (in the same round): A Champion Aero, a 3x JK Aviar, and a proto Omega AP (new pro plastic version)
Every putt is different. I take that approach with my putting. Whichever disc feels right for the putt, I go for it. The Aero is a floater, mainly for uphill putts, or slightly longer ones. The JK is for shorter ones and downhill, mostly. The Omega is more of a long ranger. It's also my go-to when the JK is missing right or low.
With all three, I am pretty much covered for any putt in any condition. But sometimes I just mix em up. In my rounds at worlds, I would say I went 40% JK, and 55% Aero, and 5% Omega.

Softish Glow Wizard with a demon stamp (as of today) and a first run black banger gt. The wizard is for about 90% of the putts, but the absolute lack of float on this banger is great for stiff head winds or down hill shots. I also carry 2 more wizards and a soft magnet for upshots or putts that aren't straight.

Why would you keep switching putters? I think this is all in your head. Just pick an Aviar, Wizard or Challenger (which ever one fits your preference) and stick with it. Only use regular grade plastic (hard or soft) and you will be fine.
The putter doesn't make the putt, YOU DO! :)

Mostly a 175g Aviar P/A. If it's really windy I feel more confident with a Champion Spider which is my short approach disc. It's a little more stable and cuts thru wind better than the Aviar.

sometimes changing putters will help short-term because it makes you focus on feel more, but long-term i think finding something that feels right in your hand and then sticking with it will pay dividends. think about learning the guitar. it's not so much which guitar you use as it is how much you practice and how much natural talent you have.

Well, after launching my beat-to-death SE Rhyno into the side of the basket (again), I picked up my Aurora MS and drilled it and just said "Why not?" So, for now, I'm putting with my AMS and seem to be doing OK.

First Run Pro Aviar - similar to the KC Pro but a tad more stable.
When choosing a putter, you might want to evaluate your putting style, then choose a putter that meets your needs. Questions you should ask:
Do you putt hard w/ a lot of spin or do you finesse (sp?) putt?
What feels more comfortable in your hand: Rigid plastic, Medium plastic, or Soft plastic?
What type of grip do you use when putting (do you leave your index finger on the rim or do you tuck it under the rim)?
Do you prefer a beaded putter or a non-beaded putter (bead = that little rim on the bottom of the putter...visually it's hard to decipher yet it does create a distinctly different FEEL from one bead to another)
Once you answer these questions, you can formulate what putter will work best for you. Another tip....once you choose a putter that feels good, STICK WITH IT! You've got to give it a chance to work for you. Play 10-20 rounds with it....this way your most likely going to play in all types of conditions (wind, rain, humidity). You'll definitely know by this time if the putter is going to work for you. And once you do find a putter you feel comfortable with, buy several of them in the same weight. This way if you lose one, your not inticed to purchase some other putter you know nothing about...talk about regression. Also, it's nice to have several of the same putter so when you practice (yeah, this is the quickest way to get better) you putt with the same thing every time.

Star Aviar 175g P&A mold.
I've tried a lot of putters in the last few years. Found the Aviar is a good fit. Right now, I'm digging the Star P&A for most puts and I use it a lot for approaches that don't need to fade much or need to turn over. It's a solid disc.
If I need to drive with a putter, or need more fade, a 175g 10x KC works for me. I've also been using a 175g Green E Wizard I got a couple years ago. Plastic feels just like my Star Aviar, but it's stable-overstable. I think I like it more than the KC because it has better grip, but it hasn't pushed the KC out of the bag yet.

Cam Todd Challenger (w/ signature stamp)
I have two main putters.
I use an Omega Super soft for any puts that I need to go straight to turn over. It is very reliable and true. I liken it to a softer Aviar. Great grip!
My second putter is a Pro Rhyno. This is my "Bad Boy" putter. It handles any wind and is great for hyzer and trick puts. Nice for side arm flip-ups!
The key to a good putter is finding one that feels good. I tried all sorts before settling on the aforementioned.

I tried out the Challengers, and much like a Wizard they lack glide. I took a tip from last years USADGC winner ( the one that doesnt get on line and brag about himself ;) ) AO, and shaved off the bottom bead of the Pro-D, and it turned into a pretty sweet putter, but a better approach disc.

I guess this comment depends on how you putt. I consider it an advantage that my Pro-D challenger has a little drop to it because it means my misses are closer to the basket. It is very easy to compensate for the drop by throwing a slightly loftier putt. Although I did not notice much difference between a putt and aproach aviar and a pro challenger is far as glide I do find an older magnet to glide farther than any putter I have ever thrown, and that does not work for me. Particularly for long putts, the challenger enables me to run putts from 50 to 80 feet and not have to worry about a long comeback putt.
The important part is that I haven't changed the putter I use for quite some time and I am very familiar with my Pro Challenger's flight characteristics. I was told by a wise man a very long time ago to "Never change anything about your putting". The longer you play the more important this is. I have changed certain aspects of my putting throught the years, but only if I know for a fact that it will make me better in the long run. I wouldn't change my putter just because I had a couple of bad days, weeks or months.

C. Players may not make post-production modification of discs which alter their original flight characteristics. This rule does not forbid inevitable wear and tear from usage during play or the moderate sanding of discs to smooth molding imperfections or scrape marks. Discs excessively sanded or painted with a material of detectable thickness are illegal. See sections 802.01 D, E and F.
Define moderate sanding.....and, if you shave the entire bead, how would anyone know there was a bead to begin with?

Yes !!!!! Now try this with your Glow Wizards , like I just did.
I hope you have a Mach V portable , a Black Light room and Strobe light. These make the effect much better !!!!!!
1st.
Put your Mach V portable into your room with Black Lights. This enhances the effect of the Glow Wizards.
Next.
Take a thin Microphone on a 12+ foot cable and plug into your Stereo system. Thread the micophone down the center of the Pole Hole and crank up the Volume atleast 2/3's the way up !!!!!
Next. Turn on the Black lights , Stereo System and Strobe lights....................................And start putting.
The Disc will Glow madly and seem to travel at a slow StarWars pace towards the Basket. When it hits the chains ..............your next door neighbors maybe upset and try calling the Police.
When the Police arrive , show them the room and the Glow putters !!!!! They will only ask you , with a smile , to turn down the Volume of your Stereo and shake their heads !!!!
