I seem to recall reading that current members could beat the price increase by renewing between September and December. Is that true? The renewal page still has 2006 info on it.

I believe you can renew for several years ahead at current rates possibly until the 2007 renewal info gets posted in Nov-Dec time frame. As with anything, the official scoop comes from contacting PDGA HQ directly.

New members can get the rest of this year plus next year for joining now.

The online pro shop (http://www.pdgastore.com) already has new memberships at $50/$75,
but renewals are still at $40/$55. I wouldn't dawdle if you want to renew.

so renewing current members can do it now and get 2007 to whatever at current rates? i hate sounding like the person asking a stupid question.

Just like a magazine subscription, lock in the current rate for several years before the cost goes up.

So it looks like pros renewing now for $220 get four years for $5 less than next year's price of three ($225). Ams renewing now for $200 get five years for next year's price of four, assuming they don't turn pro during that time.
