I'm in Tulsa, actually Bixby, doing one delivery every other Wednesday, including this coming one 9/6. I normally should be finished by noon or so, and any course in the area is probably within a half hour--anyone want to get a midday round in with me? I'm planning to play every time I'm there for a while, at least until weather considerations between KC and Tulsa make it tougher to justify. Shoot me a PM or reply here, I'm thinking Dovillio this week, but the Riverfront may be a possibility. I've played McClure and Hunter the last two trips, and while I'm not opposed to repeating I want to get one round on all the locals there first.

due to weather and family issues, I won't be playing this trip. I know that doesn't break many hearts, but thanks anyway! Next trip, the week after T-giving, McCleur backwards has been suggested.

Seems like you are always playing in the middle of a work day, which most of the time rules me out and most everyone else...I would totally recommend playing McClure backwards, first time around you will need an escort because a few of the backward holes tee's are not marked.

It seems appropriate to say I won't be playing this Wednesday either. Something about dropping temperatures, possibly snow up here in KC, rain, and a decided aversion to spending any more time than needed in conditions like those, make me think the entire scenario won't be too conducive to disc golfing.
But, going back to McCleur backwards---there are specific tees designated? You don't just find a flat spot near the basket and fire from there? COOL!!!
I'm also wondering about alternate pads for normal play--I'm told they're generally indicated on the walking path? Mopre info, please, if anyone can!
thanks
steve (who has to play mid-day alternating Wednesdays, because that's when I'm in Tulsa)

McCleur, possibly backwards if someone shows up who knows the pads officially. (Michael Salamon??)
Last trip down, 11/29, I got out of Tulsa about 12:15, hit the freezing rain and crap about 30 miles north of the KS/OK line on 169. It took 3+ hours from about Cherryvale KS to KS. WAAAY too long. I hope everyone down there made it through with no problems, you got it worse there than we did in Kansas City.
See y'all tomorrow.

Hey Forest, thanks for the map! It came too late for my last trip down, and my faithful local guide showed up to play too, so we did the backwards thing. The map is great, it'll be handy next time that seems appropriate.
But, for 12/27, I've got a million excuses on why to NOT play, so I'll use the weather---20-30 MPH south winds, and Riverfront was on the agenda, and that doesn't seem to add up to much fun. Other excuses are better and much more valid.
Everyone, I hope your Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/whatever celebrations have been great, and that your New Year is safe and good. May your plastic never find wood.
See y'all soon.
