Can anyone tell me if I can specify a diffence between the two discs? I have both. The Pros are much more floppy and work great in cold weather. The Pro Line Rhynos are not as floppy and when they get old and beat, they get much harder than the pros. I want to buy some pro lines online, but it seems no one specifies a difference between the two.
I don't know any of the technical information on the differences but i can confirm what you already know. My roommate putts with pro rhynos, but the last disc order we got at the store i work at had nothing but pro line rhynos. They are definatly not as soft or "floppy" as the regular pros. My roommate hated the feel of the pro line and can't throw them near as well as the regular pro (although i'm sure given some practice time with them he would be fine). The pro line and the pro definatly have a different feel to them. I've even seen some of the gummier champ rhynos that are softer than the pro line.

You should try the Star Rhyno. I got one last weekend in a SoCal tournament and played with it yesterday. I use it as a midrange disc and the Star felt and flew better than Pro or Champ. If you are interested in getting one, contact the SoCal Disc Golf association who may have some left.

The Pro Line was a short lived line and had components closer to the hard aviars, and was around the time before they started calling the new plastic at the time Pro line before it went to Champion. The new Pro is made to be soft. I have noticed that the new DX plastic is very stiff may be you should try that out to see if you like it.

Thanks for the input everyone. I love the pro-lines. Sounds like I need to snatch up all that I can find. I will try the star rhynos when they come out on the market to purchase( if ever). I try not to shoot special discs because they cost too much to replace, and I do not want to be mad if I lose it.

The CFR Rhynos only cost $15.99 which is the same price for Star plastic from online retailers like Sunking and only $1.00 more than Discgolfvalues or Gotta Go. If folks don't buy these while they are in the CFR program, the chances of the disc coming out in the regular line decreases.

I putt with Pro-Line Rhynos - the first ones that came out - not the newer floppy ones but the ones that are a bit stiffer.
Does anybody have any that they are looking to sell? I'm looking for them at exactly 170 grams.
I'll be in the US for the next 4 weeks. Charlotte, NC, to be exact. I'm hoping to find some of these while I'm there.
If anybody can help me out, PM me or just respond here.
Thanks.
