Check out my blog, and if you want to, leave me some feedback regarding my short course.

Feedback is greatly appreciated - anything to improve my 9-holes.

Thanks.

I personally think that if you make it all par 3's around 250 - 350, it would be much better. There really is no point in having 2 holes under 200 yet a 700 footer. Combine 2 and 3 and make 6 into two holes.

The problem was that I can't find a combination hole that puts 2 and 3 together (see overhead satelite pic). I use the same fairway going back and forth.

The reason for the 700 footer was simply to get one long hole in, so I can set myself up for hole 7 coming back. Hooles 6 and 7 play on my neighbor's property.

Towards the bottom of the satelite pictures are actually 14 acres of township property. They are waiting fot EPA approval to make that land into sort-of usable. At that point I will have a babe-ruth size baseball field in my front yard. But i should have a 400 foot buffer to the outfield fence....then I can think of re-designing or adding 3 holes.

The beauty of the three short holes (1,2,3) is actually 2-fold. If you get greedy and you try to get an ace-run, you'll go into the rough and you may not get the deuce. Plus, with the short holes, I can get people who have never thrown at a basket to give it a try. And at night, we play 1-disc holes 1,2,3, and a shortened 9 over and over until someone gets to 12 under.

But yes, keep your ideas coming....I like to hear what others think. And if you want to post directly on the blog by leaving comments....that would be great too.

Thanks.
