If there's someone out there who hasn't played in a TF event in the past, you're missing one of the finest series of tourneys out there. Joe always takes care of the players, Boulevard Beer has been at each event I've attended (with KEGS!), and it's always been a great time. Don't miss out on this one

If you all have any other thoughts or options please let me know. We have a few days to kick it around. Players packs are ordered... Sponsors are coming around, discs are being made... you know... the same ol work stuff. The purpose of this thread is to get the venue / format right for the masses and just gather some thoughts. After the wear and tear World's put on me I really am looking forward to more of a "celebration" than another balls out cut throat style tournament...

Post worlds has been OK. The only headache I have going on right now is my A/C unit is acting up. It will blow hot air from time to time and the house gets HOT!

So you only plan on having 1 this year is that right? You know everyone in Tulsa would dig it if you held the TFO here but some of your local OKC crowd might not make it if it's in Tulsa. I like the idea of a Turnpike event also but that may bring the numbers down. I would recommend keeping it in the OKC because it makes your job easier to TD the event.

Hey Zooc, are you still thinking about installing an additional 9 holes at Kelly Lane?

It's not bad, kinda reminds me of Woodson, minus the bums sleeping under the trees...some elevation change, but not a lot. Some trees, but not a lot. Lotsa open shots, which are usually the ones that give me the most problems. But it's close to my inlaws, and that makes it a GREAT course cause it gives me something to do while I'm there. Well, besides the beer fridge and the hot tub, of course :D

Beer and hot tub is a great duo! I have been meaning to get out there and play it, maybe Rick will hold a one dayer out there sometime soon.

I think T-TOWN brings it stronger than OKC and even though OKC is closer, Tulsa is worth the drive every time. I know that me and at least one of my boys would make that trip.
