Hey Evan, I would like to thank you for the plaque you donated to the Tahlequah tournament this past weekend. It looks SWEET on my wall. We are definately going to have to look you up for our tourney trophies and plaques here in Tulsa. Thanks again.
I like the poster with the very Southern, very classic Colonel Sanders fellow, but I have a few questions. Is that a noose behind the basket and if so, what is the symbolization there? Is there some significance to the 11 on the basket, or was it just the number the artist liked most? Is $58 the average price for a B tier event in your neck of the woods, seems kinda steep to me. Oh, and you might want to change "Addition" to "Edition". Sorry if it seems like I'm splitting hairs, just had some questions when I saw it. :)

The Colonel is the famous Judge Parker "The hanging Judge"
from the original Ft. Smith, before it was a State and only a territory.
The 11 on the basket is for the 11th Annual, as stated in the header of the flyer.
$58 is a little above average in these parts. Most B teirs run $40 -$65 around this part of the country.
There is a B teir in Stillwater on the 9th & 10th of Sept and its $50.

Thanks for explaining the history twoputt, the name Hell on the Border is derived from a book written about the "hanging judge". Judge Isaac Parker was also depicted in many western movies most notably Clint Eastwood's "Hang Em' High" and also John Wayne's "True Grit" and "Rooster Cogburn" - There's alot of talk about the US Marshall's museum going into Fort Smith also.
The entry for Open Players that are current PDGA member's
is actually $53.00, we chose to advertise it as a deduction for PDGA members mainly for non-member rec and jr. players showing up with $23 in there pockets and not understanding the $5 or more fee for the PDGA
Sorry about using the wrong "edition" spelling, that's what I get for two-fingering my typing
I sincerely hope that everyone can make both the Stillwater Classic and Hell On The Border, I'm sure that they will both be excellent events, don't forget that the distrance contest will be held at a real ball golf driving range - that's pretty cool!!
Thanks for the replies, now it all makes sense. Sounds like a good time, hope you guys get a great turnout. :)

My streak of first out of cash (1st loser) is over. Came from 6th place to 3rd after lighting it up....IN THE RAIN! Held on the 3rd place in the final 9 playoffs with some monster putts. I followed up one of the worst rounds I've ever played (yesterday) with one of my best (today). My putting decided to show up this morning after it was MIA yesterday afternoon.
