Or it would still look good on the wall, looks like it'll be affordable enough that you can have one on the wall and a touring bag full of em'

Hey Tulsans! Its Monday, and I really want to go to Arkansas this weekend. If anyone wants to go to HOTB this weekend, I was trying to get someone that can hold 4-5 people in their car to make this trip as cheap as possible. I am willing to sleep on the floor at the hotel or camp or whatever people do.
PM me or call 381-3336

Also, if any Arkansas people wanna put me up for the weekend, I dont steal.... much and it would be greatly appreciated and repayed if they want to come to the Oklahoma Open.

Everybodies coming.Everybodies crashin at Evan's pad.Evan's feedin everybody.Evan even said you can borrow his car,Drink his beer,Use his discs.Evan's the man!!! :p

The Pad that Pitch is referring to is actually just like a tee pad (concrete)

"Evan's feedin everybody" - yes I have some quality aged bbq chicken from last weekend for everyone playing in intermediate - all other divisions bring your own meat

"borrow Evan's car" - yes, actually it's my son's truck, bring your own engine

"drink Evan's beer" - absolutely, but only if your playing intermediate - quality schlitz beer for all of my "buddies", all other divisions bring your own booze

"use Evan's discs" - I have a large selection of high quality plastic from many manufacturers, lightning, wham-o, n-step.

"Evan's the man" - both Pitch's and Two Putts mothers will vouch for this, if you want to call them to verify you can find their numbers on most any bathroom wall

Anyone lookin for tent space or bring some padding to sleep in my basement PM me, in the house is already reserved.

How 'bout a player's list?

3902
Sep 13 2006, 11:12 PM
I think Hunter or McClure would be safe to say.Ben Geren is pretty much flat with a creek coming into play on a couple holes.A tough tunnel shot on the short #12.(Pretty trick shot)It's a nice park with lots of trees coming into play and it's groomed very well.4x8 concrete pads.Nice signs. It's becoming quite the cadillac. We're OK'd for the proposal of 9 more holes with bathrooms and a concession stand there as well.We get these in and with the park coming along the way it is it'll be one of the nicest you've ever seen.Golf Carts are welcome by the way.I'm looking for one myself. There's just a couple areas that we'll have to make easier to pass on them but you could use one there now. You'll dig it.

I want to also thank Pitch for letting us crash at your place, and thank everyone who helped with the tourney. I had a blast. Congrats Kev & JT & Melissa on bringing the hardware to T-town. And of course congrats to Matt Cooper!! TWO ACES!!! I got to witness the 2nd one...and it was definately a perfect shot. Anyway, thanks again everybody that helped and played in this tourney, hope to see all of you at the Twisted Flyer Open and then the Oklahoma Open.

It was great to play with Big Nic and JT. I'm glad you guys got to see me play some good golf after that horrible 2nd round on saturday. Congrats on the double aces coop, got to hear all 3 aces as they happened....twice behind us, and once in front of us. Coop's ace on Sunday was about 30ft away from us, SLAM! Good to see you tulsa guys again. Hopefully, I'll see you guys again at OO. Peace.

Just watching the final 9 made me way tired...me and Schwag stood between the Pro Masters and MA1's final 9 and took a beating from the rain. We still did not get as wet as the people who actually PLAYED in the final 9.

http://pbskids.org/lions/words/images/rain.gif

I just wanted to tell all the people who made the final 9, GREAT JOB!!! :o :o :o I don't think any person made a move except for Colin jumping into 3rd place in the MA1 division, so basically all the good golfers got wet because of their stellar play :D The smartest division of em' all was the Advanced Masters division, they all chose not to play the final 9 which was actually a pretty smart thing to do.

Hey. In distance, that kid didn't win overall. He won the B pool distance.
Pro was won by Zach Asbury from. Arkansas. He has an amazing drive. Slow, short run-up and huge snap and armspeed. Boom! 450'+ every time with what looks like and effortless throw.

Also, MC, Colin was in third going in. Me and Zach were tied for 4th and Colin played a good final nine to hold off the charging Zach.

P.S. How'd you like that turbo putt on the final hole in the final nine? It spashed out, but it was my tribute to Wise.

... true that ... as a matter-o-fact , we'd been tipped-off by our TD-guru Shawn LaMastus earlier Saturday that we had the "option" of a Final-9 or not ... after gaining the lead in the Third-Round ; I yielded that decision to my distinguished colleagues ... they were the "smart-ones" ... we had still accumulated 4-rounds worth of fun during 3-rounds ... thanks again to Shawn & Crew ... ya'll rock ...

We are aware of the discrepencies, got entered late last night, we will definitely be double checking everything against the actual score cards and fixing them, as for the inaccurate "to par" when the round descriptions were incorrectly entered we tried to "edit" them and quite simply couldn't figure out how to delete an extra round  Shawn got ahold of Gentry this morning and he'll get that part fixed - this is the first time that Shawn or I have done the online scoring apparently in the past he always mailed it in. Thank you all for your patience...we'll get it right!!

Yes, another highlight of the "Border" was when Wayne played "DOA" by the group Bloodrock while we were just chillin in the parking lot. I had not heard that song in many years. If you all get a chance to find it somewhere, check it out. "My arm isnt there" Its a classic. Doc
