y don't semis get rated?

also how do they decide what rounds get dropped from ratings. is there a formula or something?

Semis get rated just like any other rounds if there are at least 5 propagators and the round includes at least 13 holes. For some reason the online unofficial ratings don't always get generated for Semis.
