Can someone tell me if a Non-PDGA member can play in PDGA sanctioned tourneys. I myself am a member but have a few friends that want to play in an upcoming A tier tourney. Do they just have to pay an extra $5 or is there more to it?

Thanks mp3. I just looked again and the Tumbleweed is a B tier so looks like they just pay an extra $5. Preciate ya!

It basically states that for A Tier and above, you must be a PDGA Member. For B and C Tier, you can pay an extra $5 if you are not a member and below that no membership or fee required to play.

Our club's big A-tier event is September 17-18. We have people inquiring about PDGA memberships, and we told them that they can't pay the $5, but they have to buy a full membership.

So my question is: if these guys buy a full membership in time for our tournament in September, is that only good through December? WIll they have to renew (and pay $40 again) in January? Or does it carry over after a certain date? Thanks.

Thank you. I was thinking there was a cutoff September or October, but I didn't know the actual date.
