ok I'm sure it has been posted before but I figured I'd bring it up again.

In order of slight stability differences (same model and weight for the disc (any model))

Plastic type examples;
Innova
DX/Pro/Champion/CE/Star
Discraft
D/X/Z/ESP

can someone put em in order please

also what about Gateway/Lightning/Latitude 64/ etc.

Thanks

If you go based off the plastic surface only the more friction a disc has the less overstable it will seem compared to slicker plastics (nose gets pushed down by the wind more due to the friction). So by that logic lower end plastics won't be as overstable as the higher ends.

That said, plastics also cool differently thus creating differences in flight. For innova and Discraft the high ends are usually more overstable but I know with Gateway that the High speed drivers are usually a little less overstable. For example if a disc cools and is domey it will usually be more high speed understable and low speed overstable (easier to flip but fades back). A flat disc will be harder to flip but if you do it won't fade back much.

So most low end plastic discs will be less overstable then its high end counterparts. I hope that helps :D

innova i think is dx - pro - champ - star (from understable to overstable)
i base this all off teebirds in each plastic. someone might disagree with the champ/star but the star seems to be more high speed stable than the champ.

Yeah the reason I put most discs is because of the Star Teebird. :D
