Greetings from See Roc City (the disc golf Roc museum),

We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our new improved Roc museum at http://www.seeroccity.com/ and also the generous sponsorship of ZoneDriven, http://www.zonedriven.com/ the ultimate destination for golfers in the know.

To commemorate the Grand Opening we are holding a Grand Prize Contest!

The winner of the contest will receive a clear ZoneDriven 2001 CE Roc!

This is, without a doubt, the finest Roc in our vault! It has been bagged and stashed for 5 years. It has no bubbles in the rim and it has a silver foil ZoneDriven stamp which is absolutely unheard of in captivity!

Please go to the See Roc City museum and check out the various galleries. Each gallery displays 16 Innova Rocs at a time, and then you can reshuffle to get a new set of discs on display.

The Contest Rules are easy. Its like the old contest at the fair to guess the number of marbles in the jar!

Please send a post card in the mail with your name, address, and email (if applicable) with

** The total number of Rocs that are being displayed in the East Gallery of See Roc City **

To:

A. Boldasluv
705 N. Washington
Bloomington, IN
USA 47408

Only ONE entry per person/address will be allowed. The first complete entry received with the exact number of Rocs will be the WINNER of the Grand Prize. If no entries contain the correct number of Rocs, the closest answer will be declared the Winner. The contest closes on Aug 31, 2006 and all entries must be received by then. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on Tuesday September 5, 2006 after Labor Day. This Roc is ber Sweet!

Fly on,

Good morning,
In response to some inqueries, yes we are always looking for Rocs. Our main mission at the museum is to display all of the official Innova releases. We're not sure what we don't have. We definitely need some new Christmas Rocs and some of the orange Halloween JackoLantern Rocs. We have cool Rocs to trade if you find something!
Thanks,
Axis

Is there any chance that collection will ever be organized for catalogue style viewing ?

Display area viewing with a random collection of discs is fun for a while, but I would like to be able to view the different official Innova stamps, or the USDGC rocs, or the tournament hot stamps as a group without repeating.

Probably after their contest is over...just a guess, though.

Greetings,
Thanks for writitng. I know we only have 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005 Jackolanterns. On the Christmas stamps, we have 3 or 4 but some have no year in the design! One has a large bow. Did a large diameter Roc ever exist with the Innova "football" stamp?
Thanks,
Axis

Has anyone won the contest yet? Should we bother with postcards at this point?

Good morning,
We have a winner in the See Roc City contest for the clear ZoneDriven 2001 CE Roc.
Congratulations to Mr. Brian Collingwood of North Carolina for being the only person to correctly guess the number of Rocs being dealt into the East Gallery of the museum:
698 was the correct answer.
We had almost 100 postcards from 17 different states. Thanks to everyone for playing!
Best wishes,
Axis

Greetings,
Thanks again to everyone who played and counted the Rocs in our museum. North Carolina had the most entries, followed by Arizona and California. Now we can get back to the business of adding nice Rocs to the museum at See Roc City. We are still looking for some of the older Innova Christams Rocs and we need some of the Halloween Rocs. We have some Christams discs with no date? Can anyone tell? Thanks.
Best wishes,
Axis

kinda cool, you showing the rocs and posting some history(by the way the discription attached to the image jumps to fast to read)
But are you asking for people to GIVE you rocs?
Or are you looking to purchase?
I have a very large collection of rocs.....maybe I should call it a historical marker and ask for people to GIVE/DONATE or whatever you may want to call it.

Or, make it a gallary. Most people will not mind giving pictures.
