Format has been decided, one round of 27 holes each day (same as three rounds of 18). It is a grueling course so 27 holes will feel like a full day. There will be tee times each day which will provide plenty of time for golfers to relax by the pool, party at the bar, or even watch other groups finish. Tee times will also enable those who wish to leave early on Sunday to do so. Entries are rolling in, pre reg here:

Players from as far as Hawaii and Oregon (Avery and Dave) pre reged with many more to come. Very excited for this event. What a destination and course!!! Experimenting with the payout and it is going to be one SOLID payout!!!!

Sounds great. I'd love to make it but don't know if the funds will allow. I'd probably have to sell off my roc collection... which just may be in order.

Registrations approaching 100. Field capped at 150. For those that are not signed up yet, please note it will fill. I have verbal commitments from atleast another 15 -20 so don't hesitate.
The added cash from the Wisconsin Tourism Bureau, DGTV, Woodchuck Cider, Par 72 and more keeps on growing.
The quality of players keeps on growing. We will be paying out atleast 45% of the field, possibly 50. The final nine will include the top 4 men and top 3 women. 4 camera's will be filming for DGTV. Player interviews, tips from the pro's, ladies lounge segments and more. So even if you can't make it, in a roundabout way you still can.

The border battle is on this weekend. Bryan Logger Logergren made a sweet trophy for the state border battle winner (wonder who that will be???). If WI won't hold a supertour of their own we will hold one for them...LOL!!! :D:D:D

It will be 1 point for every person in your state that competes and 1 point for every person in their division that they beat. MN looks to have it rapped up, but you never know. It is our intention that this will become incentive for more states to compete (WI, IA, IL, MI, OR???). The trophy will have two plaques on it, one for the men's open champion and one for the border battle champion. This will stay at Telemark in their trophy case for guests to view. Just looked at the other Supertour taking place this weekend and was surprised that only 19 pros were registered, only two rated over 1000. I know Barry is in TX for the whole Microtel promotion but he is definitely kicking himself seeing the 47 pros registered for Telemark...not to mention the 7 GRAND in added cash. :D

Sometimes its not just about the money. After 6 years of full time TD'ing this is my farewell. Handing someone a $30,000 check on Sunday night will just add to a great weekend.

TG is probably really busy getting everything ready to leave. I figure they will be up either tonight or tommorow morning. A lot of people were wishing they had a speed demon on Saturday coming down the hill, lucky I had my trusty Z Pred. :D
