Sorry Guys NO Quadshocks this year. But I think everyone will be pleased with their players pack. In the Pro divisions the players pack is paid for from the ACE club not from entries fees.....everyone likes FREE stuff.....
As far as the pin placements they get changed at the begining of each month. They were on the longs july......just moved to short August.......Back to Longs September.................The Long Woods is always there and is where you can gain the most ground in an event here by shooting well in any division.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think this event has ever filled.........like tizzle said, there's 180 spots (90 pro/90 am). I would assume since there are so many spots people don't pre-register b/c they know they can get in the day of without a problem.

I beleive we will come close to the projected 180 this year, which is good news because next year will be even bigger. The plan is to have a 3rd ( temp )course here at Cedarock, exploring other parts of the 414 acre park this course will be a true championship course. so go ahead and make plans to be here next year also as it will be an event you will NOT want to miss.

Thanks for getting on board with some pics. Fast shutter speeds and very high resolution if digital is key. Good facial lighting and little background clutter helps too. Interesting angles with descriptive action is the goal.
No elbows and backsides (choose the rhyme) unless both are spectacular! I love these courses and hope that the pictures will do them due credit.
It's a shame that fall will be a bit late for the spectacular color that these courses provide.

Big Roc,
There is no formal campground the big field accross from Ceder Rock is where everyone usually sets up. the field is at least 2 acres so there is ample room. it is super imformal and a really good time so it is free and you pitch your tent where you want. as for the shower i have herd there is one but i have never seen it.

I forrsee that when the new ratingscome out, some folks might have to move up in thier division. Will this be enforced?
I can still not see how a 920 rated player can play Intermediate, what?
MTL21676
Sep 19 2006, 12:32 PM
yes they will be enforced. Tournaments this weekend can still be under old rating guidelines, but Sneeky Pete will have the new ratings, i. e. Dave Jr. will have to play advanced.

Correct. I think he is ready to move up to advanced, though a review of his rated rounds show that while this is improving, he still lacks some consistancy. He has had some trouble, for example at the Burlington courses in the past. He was ready to move to advanced if he needed to but for all of the above reasons and because Sneeky Pete is a very competitive event and he is only 11 (maturity factor here), we agreed he could play intermediate if he wanted to for the rest of this year, then he is moving up. He'd have to anyway, if his last 2 tournaments (Flying Discs and Creekside) were included in the ratings.

Enjoyed the tournamnet and I love playing in Burlington, it is such a challenge. Great to play with so many good players and meet new people. Congratulations to ALL the winners and the (TThree Pete). I had a tough second day but it taught me a lot about my game and what I need to work on. Thanks to everyone that put on or sponsored in any way, this big event. Also, I would like to just build on a comment of Roberts yesterday. Please respect TD's and players at the awards ceremonies or just hang out elsewhere. I was a long hard, weekend and everyone was tired but some people shot well and deserved recognition. Be courteous. Thanks again for all of the hard work and a beautiful disc golf weekend! Thanks also for the basket, it will come in handy for some up coming mini clinics!
