Okay, I dont know what it was rated yet, but at the Am Cup at Tyler I played really well the first round. I beat 42 and tied 5 of the 72 players. Even with my so-so second round, I still would have beat over half the Int Men field. Other rounds I have rated there are 864, 848, 836, 811, 810, 807, 818, all above my @#$%& rating. I actually think I could be competitive in the Open field there. Its a technical course, and thats where I play well.
So there. :p

We've had the weekend of Sept 16-17 set since November 2005. We moved back to allow a week break between the WVO and the Yetter to give people a chance to rest up between the pair of two-day A-tiers.

This tournament is held annually in the memory of our friend Eric Yetter. Eric was 26 years old when he was killed by a hit-and-run driver on December 22, 1991. Eric was an avid disc golfer who loved to travel to tournaments all around the Mid-Atlantic region in the mid to late 1980s. He loved the competition, as well as the great camaraderie that the sport offered. Sedgley Woods and Brandywine were two of his favorite courses and he would travel there frequently with his good friend, Joe Mela.
Shortly after his tragic death, his friends and family had a memorial plaque made and were given permission to place it atop Hole 10 at Brandywine in his memory. Soon after, some of Erics disc golf friends decided to establish a course of their own and hold a tournament every year in his memory. In 1993 the course was installed at Tinicum Park, in Erwinna, PA and the following fall the club held the 1st Annual Eric C. Yetter Memorial. In 1994 the club, then known as The Bucks County Whitetails, installed their second course at Tyler State Park, in Newtown, PA. Since this course was closer to where Eric and his friends lived, it was decided to move the memorial plaque from Brandywine to the clubs hometown course as a lasting tribute to Eric.
As the number of disc golfers playing at Tyler began to grow, the club had more members joining and decided to rename themselves The Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance. In 2003, the name of the tournament was changed to The Eric C. Yetter Champions Cup and has been one of the premier tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic region, drawing players from New York to North Carolina.

Hello, I really want to come up and play ($15 entry fee? Holy Moly!!) but am having trouble finding a babysitter due to a local (Calvert Open) event... does anybody know somebody who might be interested in hanging out with the planet's happiest, most well-behaved 19month old? Any non-players that will be hanging out at the course anyway? She's quite used to being at a tourney from daylight to dark... or I could take her to somebody's home if that's what's preferred.
I hate to beg on the message board, but this late in the game I have no choice but to appeal to the general public.
Please shoot me an email at imapackerfan@hotmail.com or call 301-931-8436 if you can find me any leads? Thank you so much, have a great day, hope to see you this weekend! :) -Kelly Boyce

98 Players participate in the 2006 Eric C. Yetter Champion's Cup!!!!
After many years of being a bridesmaid at the Eric C. Yetter Champions Cup , Brian Schweberger finally went to the alter winning $1055 in cash by shooting a 40 under par 223 for an 8 stroke victory over the red hot Mike Moser who was heavily favored to win his fourth Yetter title. Brian also won a paid berth in the Dragan Disc Golf Championships in Auburn, Maine an affiliated Yetter tourney. On his way to victory, Schwebie took three of the four layout records, only giving up the Round 2 "B" layout record to Steve Brinster, who was last year's Yetter Champion. Steve placed fourth in this year's competition in a tie with the BCDGA's own Joe "The Technician" Mela.
It would seem that the second year in a row of the BCDGA Cabinet sponsoring the Pro ladies registration fees (50% last year, 75% this year) is starting to payoff as we had 9 Female Pro entries and 5 Female Amateur entries. The Ladies' Pro Open Division was won by Carrie Burl Berlogar who had just arrived back in the states after helping lead Team USA to a victory over Team Europe in the Presidents Cup followed by an 8 stroke victory in the European Open. Great job Burl! We hope you come back!
BCDGA Cabinet members who finished strong were Rex "Hobie" Hay who took second in the Pro Grandmaster division and Marc Brooks who tied for third in the Advanced AM division. Tyler State Park regulars Marie and Tim Fry did very well with Marie winning the Advanced Ladies division by nine strokes and Tim finishing second in the Advanced Grandmasters. In the Advanced Masters division our own Glenn Patterson finished strong in second place. Other local talent swept the Intermediate Amateur competition where Kyle Dorney, Bob Zdziera, and Stu Kaplan finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. See what playing League night will do for your game! Time to move up boys!
The winners:
Men's Pro Open - Brian Schweberger
