I'll be in Norfolk starting this Saturday (July 15) and leaving Saturday July 22.
I have nothing to do Sunday, July 16 and I can probably play in the evenings on most of the week nights.
Is there anything close?
My hotel is at Newton and Greenwich (Holiday Inn).
Thanks all,
Scott

There are several in the area. Suggest putting the hotel zip code in the PDGA Course Directory and it will show you roughly how far you are from each one as the crow flies.

If you can travel just a little there's a nice course in Newport News, just north of Norfolk through a tunnel. It's in Newport News Park, right off the highway. Lots of regular play so you can hook up, too.

Also there is a new course in Williamsburg if you dont mind driving that far. It is way better than Bayville, Newport News, or any other course in the area. Better bring your "A" game though.

Ace Run Ranch was a really good course but I heard it was badly damaged in a hurricane last year. I don't know the current status of it.
Newport News Park is a really nice course - it's well groomed and very professional looking. Play the advanced tees.
Bayville Park in Virginia Beach is an older course, and even from the pro tees, it's mostly pitch-n-putt. But it's still a really fun course to play.

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
I'll probably try the Newport News course on Sunday...and a couple of the closer courses in the afternoon on a couple of the weekdays.
