Yeah, I use IvyBlock (http://www.ivyblock.com/) if I know I won't be able to shower immediately after. It works great for me, however it is kinda pricey. But for me, its way less expensive than having to go to the hospital and getting a shot. Many pharmacies carry it or similar products.

You can order Ivy Block on-line, if you can't find it in the store. I have used it and then washed with Technu in a cold shower after possibly being exposed to the oil. It has worked well for me. I got a good case of ivy at Waco and that got me interested in finding something that would work. Make sure you take care to wash everything after coming in contact wtih the oil or you could still get it. Your disc, your bag, etc.

There is a disc golfer in Michigan who sells effective poison ivy products, Tom Pluister. One is an ivy blocker you apply before hand. The other is an ivy remover you use afterwards. Diana uses his products and does not get poison ivy when she does. His website is http://www.plu-ent.com/store/products.php?categoryName=Outdoor%20Products&categoryParentName=No%20Obstacles but I'm not seeing the stuff listed. His e-mail is info@plu-ent.com

Well let me put it this way, the times I have used it, I didn't get poison ivy. I used it when I knew I wouldn't be able to take a shower after playing (usually in out-of-town tourneys with a 4 hr drive). So you can take that as: yes, it works; or I didn't get in any poison ivy. If you have ever played Cliff Drive in KC.....I used it there at Mighty MO and didn't shower for about 5 hours afterward and got no poison ivy whatsoever. Next test will be at Mohawk.
