The Frying Pan is heatin' up! Welcome the 2006 version of the Frying Pan at Oak Grove Regional Park(the country club) located on the corner of I-5 and 8-mile road in Stockton. Although it's on the same weekend as Am Worlds, it will still be competitive and fun. Let's crown some new champions!
Pre-registration is preferred and is the only way to get a player package, so get your flyers at: NorCal (http://www.norcalseries.com)

I know that I won't be defending as I didn't play last year. I may have to play open so I can check out your game! I'll wear my headphones too and we can communicate through sign language!

Keep those flyers rolling in, players. And remember: e-mailing me or calling me does not get you pre-registered. When I see your filled-out flyer and your registration fee, you are pre-registered. Pre-registration is no longer the future, it is the present.
Quite a few people have sent their money in to me and I will post a pre-reg list very soon. Thanks, KL
Go to www.norcalseries.com (http://www.norcalseries.com) for the flyer.
Dang. I just put a post-it on the check with my info on it. :D;)

Too bad we didn't have the tourney last weekend when it was 115 degrees F here!! That would have been a Frying Pan to remember. Anyway, it's only supposed to be peaking at 95 degrees this weekend. Should be nice. :DWe are 64/90ths pre-reged so far.
Who will 3 the "Panhandle" on Sunday? Hole 16-17.

The big oak in front of the basket?
Anyway, there are 20 spots left in the tourney. I should be getting the last of the snail mail tomorrow and then I'll open it up for any stragglers that are bound to show on Saturday. Just bring cash and your late fee.
Updated tourney list is just a few clicks away. KL

Last year no Masters. This year it looks an all-star line up (except for me). I could play great and come in last place! Sheesh! It's never easy.

There has been a Discgolfdude sighting!
Thats right!
discgolfdude has RETURNED!!!
After a three year layoff of NO play I came back and finished third... I also figured that you all missed me soooooo much on the disc board that I would grace you with my Raunchy Self once again! I know you love me and missed me, so you are welcome for my return from the depths of raising children.
BTW
For a b tier I was disappointed in the amount of people that showed up but I won cash so the ones that didnt show can yank it!

I can attest to his triumphant return. Looking good for an old man with kids! :p
Results....Anthon won open with Cansler in 2nd. Rich K represented the flickers nicely by winning Masters with I thkn Doug Werner in 2nd. Sparky took AM1 and some local crushed AM2. Darla rained supreme in Am women. I did see Anni Kreml out the first day draining 40+ footers...not a good pro women's turnout...so she might have taken the money and ran?
I agree...small turnout for a norcal B tier...but I think people were afraid of the potential heat.
Thanks Discette, good to be back! Iknow the sport had a rough few years without me but I always knew I would return to give yall my love :D

Sorry, had to go where the cash is, and unfortunatly, first place got most all of it at santa Maria
gave up the norcal lead in points and my title, oh well.
Hey Greg, apparently you won Auburn. Congrats on the win. LOL. Don't worry you're still in the points lead, but it's gonna be close. Too bad my back is all messed up or I might be playing better.

OK, OK, they are up! Vacation to Pinecrest was pretty sweet!
Great to see you out there DiscGolfDude!! All other tourneys are jealous that you chose our venue over theirs.
Anyway, the tourney almost went off without a hitch, but the little problems were ironed out with much haste.
Thanks to all the Windjammers that volunteered their time. I hope everyone else there had a good time.
Next year will be much better...

Thanks for all the hard work Kenny. What was the deal with all the players quitting? Eight players quitting seems kind of high.
