OK, so I'm getting more curious about the Gateway line of discs. A while back I switched to the Wizard as my putter and my accuracy has increased tremendously. So now I'm curious about the other discs Gateway has to offer. Here are my questions...

1> Which disc of Gateways is most like the Innova Gazelle? Currently I use the DX Gazelle as my Main Driver for Holes 300' - 400' or when I need a consistent straight shot down the middle.
Also used for Anhyzer shots.

2> Which of Gateways discs is most like an Innova Valkyrie? Currently I use a DX Valkyrie as my Long Driver Holes 400'+

3> What Gateway disc is the best Headwind disc? Strong (Star TeeRex/TeeBird)? Medium(Champ Starfire)? Slight(Star Orc)?

4> Midranges? Currently I use the DX Roc for all midrange type shots, the KC Pro Roc for Headwind Midrange.
I'm assuming the Element-X as the Headwind mid, and the Element as the midrange.

Thank you in advance for your answers, I look forward to the responses :)

Well...to replace your Gazelle, I would suggest the Sabre. The Sabre is a good all around driver.

A replacement for your valkyrie would be a Scream DT.

Headwinds that are strong or moderate, I would suggest an E-Spirit. And winds that are slight, I would suggest an Illusion.

Midrange department, the Element and Element-X combo is a pretty good set. I would throw in a demon for the strong headwind shots.

Thanks for your response Discchucker! Where can I get a Scream DT at I looked on the gds site and didn't' see it, and I'm pretty sure the local store that carries Gateway Discs probably doesn't have it.

I think the scream and scream dt's just got stamped, so they should be out to retailers soon.

Your best bet would be to call the shop directly if you need them right now. Otherwise, you can do like Further said and wait a week or so and the retailers should have them in stock.

Discchucker is right on for his suggestions. Where you use a Tee-bird, the Sabre is great. Adding an E-Hybrid would be great with the Rocky Mtn. altitude.

If you know Dash Harrison, a fellow MileHigh golfer, ask him about his Gateway stuff b/c I sent him some discs last week.

I play with Dash all the time. He was tellin me about you. :) He seems to be really liking the wizards ya sent. I'm jealous of that black one ya sent him. I can't wait to try out some of the other Gateway plastic.

Thanks for the interest in our products!

We offer some missed stamped specials of 5 for $35 and 10 for $60 for players who want to get their feet wet trying out our discs. Most of this promotion is done through posting here on the pdga discussion board.( only the 5 for $35 is available on our website.

We still have some Screams and Scream DT's left at the shop, but not too many, we have had a few big weeks of sales recently. There are plenty of Black Wizards though as the proto( chalky style) is hard to stamp!

You can email me at david@gdstour.com or call the shop 314 487 5204 if your intersted in more information or the missed stamped discs.

I have a program where we give discs away for leads on new or existing stores and are alwyas looking for sales reps and distributors.

Thanks David, I might have to take ya up on that offer on a scream dt. Gotta check with my funds :)

I threw the "S" Element and "E" Element X today and I really liked them. The "S" Element was a nice turnover disc and will be great for those Anhyzer shots. It was a beat in one that my brother had and let me try. It really liked to hang right.

I definitely have some leads I'll email them to you.
