This is a MUST PLAY for anyone who wants to play an awesome mountain course and have a chance at some nice cash. Last years payout was awesome, and they didnt have Full Throttle on board. Who doesn't like to take a ski lift to the first tee?

I'd love to hit it but i'd have to play it blind, i'm sick of driving over 7 hours, and I'll be in WV the weekend before trying to defend...
Maybe next year??

It's filling up quick, this is a sweet tournament you don't want to miss. It is an amazing course. We are looking for a couple more Open women to make a division. If anyone is willing to travel to Utah, I can find you a place to stay. We currently have 6 women signed up, that's 5 more than last year. Yeah!!!!!!!

Come one, Come all, to the mountains of Utah, OOOOFFFF, only about 20 spots left. I have spoken with the TD and he has put the Open 1-3 spots above $1000. That's right, the boys in Utah are putting together a tourney that is going to be one not to miss every year. Full Throttle is the title sponsor and with last years Moose sightings and one running through the warmup area, scattering 50 disc golfers, you better have plenty of Full Throttle on board. This year I got Mike Goar, Manager of the Solitude Mountain Resort, to queue up the mountain lions.
Check out the web site, http://www.teamutahdiscgolf.com/ click on Full Throttle Challenge for all the details...
See ya all in a couple weeks..

Watch out all you 1000+ fools, me and my 975 rating mean business!
Cary,
See u at Sunrise for the warm-up tourney. Two tournaments on mountain courses back-to-back. This is seriously going to screw with my sea-level game.

Any of you local's seen Dave Darr lately, I moved out of travelling distance, but thought his game was shaping up nicely. Wondering why he wasn't current or signed up??

Im not a local, but I did see Dave at the Creekside Open this year. He said he had only played a couple of times this year. He has been playing lots of ball golf I guess. His game did not show of a layoff. He still threw 400 ft. Rocs into headwinds, and drilled bullet putts from all over the place. We had a pretty serious battle. He will probably sign up to play atthe last minute, like usual.

Only 2 days to practice, get my legs in shape for the "HIKE" disguised as discgolf, and my lungs and throwing arm in sink. I beleive this is kind of like that Olympic sport, you know the one, x-country skiing and marksmanship with a rifle. Try putting at 9000 feet with your heart at about 120 bpm because you just hiked up a 400 foot hole that has one of those black diamond signs by the bucket. I think we will see that discgolfers are true athletes when it comes to playing this type of course. You can't let the terrain get in the way of the skills. Now I'm not one that should be talking about being in shape and trying to play discgolf. My friends know me all to well, and the well is never dry in my neck of the woods.
Enough jabber, check out this article that ran front page last week in our Lifestyles or Outdoor section of our local paper. http://www.sltrib.com/food/ci_4257403
Off to the course to practice. BS and I will be practicing Solitude on Thursday around 10:30 if anybody wants to join us.

I want to thank Craig Myrick (great win too!), Steve Sharp, and Solitude Mtn. resort for running an awesome tourney. Course was in perfect shape and the weather was great. Payout was huge, players package great, and the experience unforgettable. Cant wait to get some revenge on the course next year! This will definitely be a must attend!!

Good thing the Full Throttle was last weekend. It snowed substantially in the mountains yesterday and has been pretty cold.
