It's almost here get your money in.
I will post some pics later of the hard work done to the course in the past 2 weeks by our club members. The course looks like it did almost 10 years ago, almost 20 trees were removed from the back nine and a lot of trimming and landscape has happened. Come see the course it looks great and plays great.

As of last night, our club president said there were only 7 spots left in the AM field. If you plan on playing, you better get on the horn or you can pay with PayPal on our club website. Get on it..the NT side is filling in nicely as well.

It sounded like a GOOD idea at first, didn't realize my social life and disc golf time would be completely eliminated.

Hurry up Aug 1 ;)

What are the chances of someone getting in off of the waiting list?
My brother waited too long, and isn't sure if it's worth the 6hr. drive from PA if he is on the waiting list.

Depends how far down he is on the waiting list. I would expect a few people to get in, but you never know with A tiers. There are a lot of locals and Cincy players that will most likely be there rain or shine! Good luck.

Oh and one more thing!!! I dont understand why an A Tier would have anything lower then a Advanced division!!! I dotn see the need for anything lower then Advanced..........If you want to play an A Tier then move up!!! I mean seriously its almost like having an Intermediate division at Worlds........I mean seriously do Intermediate players really need to play in A Tiers???

I'm signed up as a INT.... punk.

(j/k about the punk thing)

Why no INT divisions for A-Tiers? I'd say get your money in faster for the big events that you want to play, and then you won't be all butthurt that you didn't get a spot. INT in this and other big tournies is a HUGE marketing tool for the PDGA believe it or not. Letting newer players like me have a shot to play in tourney that has all the big names, a great atmosphere, and possibly some big money prizes just gets us hooked for life.

BTW, I've already won one A-tier INT division this year. I was thinking about jumping up to the big pond to swim with the sharks, but my first rating has me playing to a 912. I've been playing for 14 months, and I'm going to take my time donating, please.

Hey I agree I have only been playing for a couple of months and don't know if I will ever be able to play advance so I like having intermediate at all tourneys as well.

For everyone traveling here this week. The state is still doing the Northeast Expressway Project on 270 and 161 (the highways that get you to the course). This is the website that has all the ramp closures and other info about the MAJOR construction going on in that area. Please read it.

http://www.dot.state.oh.us/161next/

If you are coming down 270 east from 71 on the north side of columbus the biggest change is that 161 now is only 1 exit instead of two and you need to go east on that exit when it splits. If you are coming from the airport or from the south on 270 you need to be on the far right side of 270 when it divides, you then skip the easton exit and go to the 161 east bound exit. Please allow extra time when traveling as there is a lot of traffic at times in that area and there might be delays. Just a heads up......

Wow, Feldberg took the lead in round 3 and is holding strong with 3 holes left. Barry is now tied for second with Avery and Brinster after struggling a bit during the final 9.

Brinster and Avery are having the hot final 9s. Brinster is 5 under for 6 holes, and Avery is 4 under through 6 holes. Barry and Feldberg are just 1 under through 6. Must be fun to watch.
