What is up with those "long tees" who designed em and are we playing them? I'm sure you Durham boys are used to them, but walking onto the course and playing them fresh, they seem retarded...maybe my perspective is retarded. Throw us a bone??

While I have in the past not enjoyed the longs, I don't mind them much anymore. Most of my gripes came from the holes with an extra basket and there was been much work to clear more fair routes to these pins - my thanks to Benson BErdman and others who have helped with this.

18 long is one of the best 2 shot holes you will find. The drive requires accuracy placement and distance. I'm honestly thinking of taking a roc and conceeding a 4 or 5 instead of getting a 6 like I did at bullcity.

Some of the longer pads I really like - 4 and 6 are really really good holes. I also like hole 8 a lot. The only holes I have a problem with are 2 (lack of room) 17 (its a par 3.5) and 7 (one of the best holes on the course in the original and I miss throwing it 4 times).

I love the longs, they're all BUZZZ shots :-D Except 18...that's a nice QJLS or Teebird.

I said "I don't mind them anymore" that certainly doesn't mean that I like them. There are many courses that I don't like but I can tolerate, and Valley long is one of them.

I'm really glad we are playing the original twice - I really love the originals - a lot of really good shots on that course and its a fun course to play.

Ya don't need to hyzer flip flippy plastic...just be a man and throw a dead straight midrange (except those few shots where you need to turn it over...then you might want to do that)

I did that for Schweb's wedding - played the GVDG monthly in the AM and then attended the wedding the in the afternoon.

I would like to thank The Messiah and the BCDC for running a great event.

I am sorry that this is only the second event in 15 years that I did not finish.
