I still consider myself fairly new to the entire Disc Golf scene even though I have been throwing discs at baskets for the last two years. Do people have prefered sites to buy discs from? I am a little surprised this isnt something talked about more often. I wonder if it has anything to do with the nature of the PDGA itself. If it does then I apologize. Who doesnt want to pay the least ammount for their discs? Thanks and sorry for whatever the outcome is.

I have ordered from sunking without problems. Currently I am expecting a package from gottago, but the process there seemed pretty smooth. I have also ordered from discgolfvalues.com, and while I got everything all right in the end and fairly quickly, there seemed to be a lot of confusion about whether or not they had in stock the items that I wanted. I was told that they did, then told that they didn't, and then I got what I had asked for, for the most part.

I'll be the devils advocate here...

for the most part I've had great service and have gotten pretty much what I wanted by ordering online.

The only issues are that you might not get excactly the weight and color you order unless you really specify to only send you a disc in the specs you want.

Most places give you the color option of bright or dark, mainly because its nearly impossable to keep track of all the colors they have currently available in stock at that moment you ordered.
They are alot better at shipping out specific weights tho.

So if your not too bothered by getting a Red 171 Flick Z as opposed to the Bright Green one you wanted then it should all be good.

The other downer is the shipping cost which could be 5-6 bucks extra so a disc that may be on sale for $7 as opposed to the $13 normal price...you'd still be paying the same amount after shipping in the end.

Now for the positive

You can find rare or out of print discs quite easily.

If you didnt already know, Discraft changed up their stock and discontinued a bunch of models....but....there are several places online where you can still get these discontinued discs for the same ol' price. I'm a big fan of the Extra (which was discontinued but Gottago still sells em and for cheap.
Sunking sells the z plastic Comets and discgolfvalues has a ton of x-outs for cheap.
So check em out

I know my opinion is heavily biased, but the only store I recommend is Marshall Street (http://marshallstreetdiscgolf.com) Conviently located in Jason Southwicks basement next to Pyramids disc golf course I have the option of ordering online and getting it in two days, or shopping at the store. I live about an hour from the shop so with the cost of gas it is cheaper to order online. His prices are about the same as everyone else but when you buy from Marshall Street you are supporting the sport of disc golf in New England. Everyone knows that New England is the greatest place to live(except for western conneticut... **** yankee fans), and New Englanders are the coolest disc golfers ever, so obviously everyone should buy from Marshall Street. Jason Southwick and Steve Dodge run a great store and the Marshall Street Disc Golf Championship is the greatest disc golf tournament that isnt santioned. Southwick is also a really cool guy, and he writes the best descriptions for each disc.

I also am a little biased as I own and operate an actual pro shop that isnt in my basement, garage, car trunk or trailer.

We cost more than about all the other places. I can promise Ill do my best to get you what you ordered or work with you for something else youd like. Ill ship it to you as cheap and fast as possible. I sell occasionally on Ebay, where Ive never had a complaint or problem. We just went live a few weeks ago on our own.
