How do they compare? Will the Z replace the ESP in my bag?
The ESP Surge is beautiful - how could it be replaced? :D

It didn't for me. I think the Z is a little more HS understable, and a tad more LS overstable. So I can throw it the same distance, same power, but the Z takes a little wider route for me. A bigger S if thrown flat.
I prefer the Esp, and don't carry the Z right now. The Esp is definitely more grippy, and almost just as durable. Not quite tank resistant like Z, but close.

I think the ESP is better for a hyzer flip, especially the flatter white plastic. But, the Z is less flippy for a flex shot. The Z, I am throwing has the ultra grip and I have heard that they are less stable then plain Z.

The regular z surges are bomb!!! Nose down with a little bit of hyzer...perfect distance disc for me. The surge has made all other distance discs obsolete. Who wants to buy a stack of Crushes, Flashes, and Avengers? :D

If any of the Crushes are first runs that have hit a couple thousand trees and been run over once or twice...
Nah, actually I already have a backup corkscrew tomahawk disc.
I think I'm going to stick with my ESP Surge. Although...I'm getting ten feet at best more with that than with my Wraith and Avenger and it has too insistent a fade to push my other distance discs out of the bag completely.
