Is there a list available somewhere on the website of the current Touring Pro card holders? I flipped through the few places I thought it might be and couldn't find a list anywhere. Thanks!

thanks Mike! I was about to go try to dig up Mitch's stuff that came with his card and see if there was a list in there... this is much easier.

Can't understand why you haven't gotten an answer. After all, the DISCussion board is the only way we have to get answers to our questions. Would be nice to have other alternatives.

I would email David Gentry ([email protected]) and then post his answer here. And actually, I just did email him.

According to David Gentry, they recently finished up the 2008 stats and Worlds invites so it will probably be sometime next week.

I asked this question a while back, but there was never an answer given...How do you get a touring card? And who has them for 2009?

Thanks

ok i'll admit it I'm clueless on this one and I've read the description a couple times... What does having a Tour Card really mean, besides getting a vote for player of the year awards, does it give you access to the special VIP room at the Tournament, or discounts at McDonalds?

I think it gets your name on a list.

Hey Chuck -

Are you in charge of Touring Pro system? I researched the 2009 requirements for becoming a card holder, has anything changed for the 2010 season? I only ask because I can't wait to get into the Memorial since they are taking the first ten card holders to sign up. Do you have an idea of when the 2010 Touring Pro list will be released?

Thanks,
Dion

All I know is that whatever meaning the Touring Cards once had has pretty much been proven meaningless by the PDGA. Last year they never even sent them out and as far as I know only 1-2 A-tiers actually held spots from TC holders.

Dave Gentry handles the Tour Card system. He can't make the calculations for 2010 Tour Cards until all of the reports and results for 2009 are received and processed. That's Feb 1st at the earliest.

gotcha. well, I'm not going to wait till Feb 1st before buying a plane ticket to scottsdale, so I guess I'm just going to assume I'm in.

thanks
