That structure will not be the exact structure, although it is similar...Steve, I'll send you the blind intervals and chip counts if you like.

how deep is the payout? I imagine it's deeper than 4 this year?

Payout is dependent on the # of players.
20 or less, the top 4 get paid.
more than 20, then it changes.

I am gonna take down the poker tournament this year.
Missed playing last year cause I waited too long to get my money in, and you guys let a big donkey win. :)

I believe this year we will be able to accommodate more poker players so hopefully people won't get shut out if they want to play...This year will be bigger and better..
I'm not allowed to talk about it, especially the details. We've got room for 40 players, and two good tables, with the other two tables in the garage or outside. Someone from a lowly cellar plastic table could elevate to victory, on one of the good tables no doubt. By then the cellar tables will be filled with renegate gamblers indulging in more, if not completely unauthorized, poker. You guys have a serious problem. Tell you what, after the msdgc we can dance parallel 12-steps and e-mail each other our progress.
Nutha thing we're not telling everybody is how the locals are going to fix some viddles for the holdem junkies and friends. I never said it; you didn't hear it here.
Just one more dog barking.

We shall see little man :D I may be a big donkey, and I know people will be gunning for me, but I'm predicting to at least make it to the final table. No guarantee on victory though - don't want to be too arogant - but just read my signature line, and that's all you need to know.

Though I want to do well (and have fun) in hold'em, I'm really concentrating on reclaiming my title of POOLBALL KING this year.

If you play poolball, you will be king. That is because the poolball is taking a Hitaus this year in hopes that next year it will be a PBGA Major (Pool Ball Gamblers Anonymous)
Hey, it works for the Hall of Fame Classic and the Japan Open and the European Open, right?

Of course this has me as 35th in the world and I didn't even cash two of my last 3 events :-D
Also has a number of pros that haven't cashed or have hardly ever cashed in the top 100. Otherwise I agree with the top 20 or so.

Best event of the year. 8 touring card holders have a chance to get in without all the hassles of all the waitlisters. Maybe they aren't seeing the big picture... Let them eat PIE!
I'd love to see some west coasters make the trek. Anthon, Rico, Doss, Sprague... What about Boobs, Coda, Brad, Deano?
Oh so many who could take those spots, but maybe it's best that they go to the likes of Cowperthwaite (1004!) Cahill and the like.
