So, I am thinking of making the drive from KY to play in this tournament. Is anyone familiar with this area and the courses played in this tournament? What are the courses like? Will there be a player cap? Is it worth making a 4 hour drive from KY?
Thanks.
anyone know anything about this event???

I am guessing you mean the Circus City Open. (Peru, IN is the home to the Circus Hall of Fame!!). This is a first class event run by one of the best clubs in Indiana.
All Amateur divisions (Advanced included) play 2 rounds of 24 on Saturday, June 10 at Honey Bear Hollow. Honey Bear is one of the oldest courses in Indiana. Most of the holes are fairly short, but 18 of the 24 holes wind through some beautiful wooded land with a little bit of elevation change.
All pro divisions will play 2 rounds of 24 at Mississinewa on Sunday, June 11. I know there is a minimum $1500 added cash.
I don't have the flyer with me here at work so I don't have any more of the specifics such as entry fees, but I will try to get more information posted early next week.
Hope to see you there,
John

Simon,
There will be a cincinnati crew going up there. I've also heard that it's extremely well run. They cook lunch for you between rounds. I've heard nothing but good things about the tournament.
Cool. Thanks for the info guys. I probably will head up there - I love wooded courses! :D
