I've heard N.E. Lions Park was the first followed shortly by Will Rogers in 1977. Can anyone confirm this? What was the first DG Course in Tulsa? Riverside? When?

Hey, be nice. Those normanites take the history and stupidity of that course very seriously.

I like 3 and 7 :D

but since I already know what holes people are referring too, maybe it is a little crazy ;)

One of these days I will be able to put a blind, uphill, turnover shot on one of my courses ;)

You will have to ask twoputt, I think that he is the only one old enough to remember back that far. :o

I asked Daryl Johnson and received this response: I started playing in 1990. I heard that NE Lions was installed in 1978,
and Will was installed in 1979 (original layout by Ed Headrick). That's what I heard from Stan Korth, original club member. Jack Wilson would know.

We could ask Wayne, of course, but it seems like he don't come round here no more
