Thank for your hardwork Jerry et al. I played a course in Lewisville, TX today where all of the distance readings were off. Did you know that I can throw a 3/4 Tee-Bird about 450? Neither did I.

I never realized hole measurements were so important :(

Hmm - let's see what was Dan doing earlier on Sunday. WORKING AT MOHAWK along with his two boys Michael and Justin. I am all for calling out people but let's call out those who are not doing anything.

Congrats on holding #001 and defending it at Dovillio.

IN THE LONG POSITION ... AND HE WAS ONLY 30' OUT.. IT WAS AN OVER THE TOP SHOT AS HE CALLED IT. I NEVER SAW IT COME DOWN, BUT WHEN WE WALKED UP ON THE HOLE HE WAS STRAIGHT IN LINE 30 OUT, AND NAILED THE PUT.

Yea, Devan was there, he showed up at 1:30 and left by 3:00pm. :(

Dan and the boys put in a couple more hours work than Dev.

The bulk of the work crew was out there by 10:am and didn't quit working until 4:30. Four of us went and played a round on the Black course after that and at 6:00pm Joyle Deering and Billy Juby were still working.

We cleared the tee around hole two, all of 17, the tee around 3, the fairway and green area around 3. Hole 5 has had more clearing done and all along the left side of the woods has been cleared. Hole 6, the area in the middle of the fairway has been cleard and the green has been opend up. The path from 6 to 7 is now done and 8's fairway and green area have been clreaed out. We didn't get 12's tee area yet. Hole 13 has been cleared down the fairway and the green area. Hole 1e has been cleared beginning at the corner and all the way to the hole down the left side and the green is now cleared. We still may need to clear the right side of the fairway. Hole 14 has been cleared at the corner on both sides and down the left side all the way to the green. The path from 13 to 14 is now done also.

We still need a lot of wood picked up and piled up for the city crews to get rid of before the brush hog and mowers come in.

We have also begun staking the tees for the black course and will continue on those Friday and Sunday, with concrete to follow the weekend after on the 13th.

We will need LOTs of help on the 13th for pouring the concrete all day long and volunteers to watch the pads until they set or when the park closes at 9:00pm.

Thanks to all those that came out yesterday, we had a great crew and thanks to Kelly Watson for buying lunch for the volunteers.

Mohawk is getting very close to completion. We still need help out there for a few more weekends and it will be ready for Worlds.

If you purchased a tag from the 2006 Am worlds or TDSA, then you are entered into the drawings for prizes. If you purchased your tag from another individual, the you now own one of our special POS tags and will not be in the drawing.

You need not be present to win. ;)

Zook dropoedd a load of dirt for the tee pads just outside the gate at the pond.. We also need to spread the mulch around hole 1's basket on BH. There is more mulch that has been dropped by the pond.

All of the tee pads need to be checked, some still need dirt and most all of theothers need some touch up.

The board that was loose on the bridge has come completely lose and needs to be screwed back down and some bricks need to be placed under it.

I will be receiving the tee signs for Dovillio and Hunter on Thursday, as soon as they arrive I will turn them lose to anyone that can go get them installed. Mohawks signs may not be delivered until Monday before the event.

We need weed eaters at every course for touch up around the tee areas and the baskets.

MOST of all we need the trash picked up around the pond again, and around the course overall. I have started to notice some trash around the tee areas, this is from disc golfers.

Hunter looks terrible right now and needs a trash crew very much. I think Dovillio is in good shape, just needs the final mowing.

They placed 5 barrels around the pond, that was the biggest problem. It will do no good to put them inside the course, as the trash people will not pick them up. We will used trash bags at evry hole and the water boy's can pick them up through out the day.

How dissapointing.....

I bought a tag, came to Tulsa and only was able to challenge for the tag twice, and then once on a cross card challenge, all three times were by Dason.

First round he beat me by only one stroke.
Second round I beat him by 7 strokes.

Then in the spirt of tag challenges I accepted a cross card challenge from him and he beat me by 8.

Sadly I return from Tulsa with the same tag I came with. #67

At least it supports the tournament.

There were no other women who had a tag, so therefore I kept the same one that I entered the tourney with...the last GOLD tag #25! :D
