I think it 90-100, the New TTowers has a female owner with a no shoe in da house policy. Operational for Poker, but prolly not Disc golf extravaganza's. Captain Kirk will prolly be entertaining many guests this year as he did last year.

It is either 80 or 85 - but I know for a fact the cost is in the 80's.
I'm sure Kirk will be doing his thing at his house - can't wait to jump in the pool!

MTL21676
May 01 2006, 08:00 AM
The worst part of Cedar Hills was there really was no score seperation. I remember Kenny beat me by 3 ( he shot 48 I shot 51) last year in the first round and he was on the third card, I was on the 10th. So that means like 30 people shot between 3 strokes of each other.
Buckhorn will provide massive score seperation and will test everyone over two rounds.

1 - They are a sponsor of the event. The more sandwiches they sell the more money that goes into the purse.
2 - The nearest food is quite a drive from the course and it is unlikely that you will have time to go get something and get back in time for the 2nd round start.

Barry found out again how hard it is to win in Raleigh. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Thanks to Kirk for yet another successful crosstown. Hopefully many more to come. Congrats to all the qualifiers. FirZZaks, have a safe trip and come back an see us. Oh yeah, thanks to the guy that hit me with the disc before the second round. Congrats JJ, that's a lot of great shooting. First A Tier win, against some pretty good competition, ya think?
Thanks a lot to our most gracious hosts for providing us with lodging, grills, coolers, the pool, and a place to congregate all weekend. TThat was the most relaxing place to wind down after a long rough day of golf.
I'd like to thank myself for the 2 stroke penalty I incurred ON TOP of the awful round I had second round. Argh. My bad, thanks for getting the scores up so quick so I was able to find out that night that I'm not in Robert's group. :) Just kidding, Robert, and STOP TALKING!
Big props to the Frizzaks. Last tournament in NC and Bard AND Sjur BOTH secured USDGC spots. What a way to go out, right on top! See you boys Wednesday.
My allergies are really punishing me as I type this. But it was worth it.
Had a great time, just one bad round. They say it's tough to cash in NC, I'd have had to shoot 1000 rated golf for 4 rounds to cash in this one. Craziness.
Big thanks go out to all those who didn't write on me. I was easily the first to "pass out" at the party Saturday, but 2 hours of sleep and waking up at 3:00am can do that to ya.

Yep, I know how durable star plastic is now because of Barry.
Great day of watching great golf.
Snoop- You are a great pro. If I won a hundred millon bucks and could "Sponsor" golfers and let them do what they love and make more than just a good living you would one of the first people i would call.
Barry- You proved with your 4 on nine that great golfers are not defined by thier great shots but by what they do after a bad one.

Congrats to JJ on his first A tier win. I'm glad that I was there to witnes it.
I hated to see Barry get that upset toward the end of the last round. I guess his expectations are higher than that of mine. Oh well. It was still great to see him and I wish him all the best this season.
Congrats to all the winners
Thanks to Kirk for a great tourney
Yep, I know how durable star plastic is now because of Barry.
Great day of watching great golf.
Snoop- You are a great pro. If I won a hundred millon bucks and could "Sponsor" golfers and let them do what they love and make more than just a good living you would one of the first people i would call.
Barry- You proved with your 4 on nine that great golfers are not defined by thier great shots but by what they do after a bad one.
Frizzaks - You both are some of the calmest coolest golfers there are. NC will miss you. Bard the 3 on 18 was awsome.
JJ your my brother and congrats on a great win.
There seemed to be a little confusion in what I wrote before that I want clear up. What Barry did on Hole nine was awsome and it proved that he is a great player so here is an account of it.
Barry shanked his drive on 9 almost onto 10's fairway but in all the shule. He throws out and goes directly into all the stuff on the left side of the fairway maybe 15 feet further. I thought for sure he was lookin at at least a five. He never showed any emotion steps to his lie and throws a sick hyzer that lands underneath the pipe and then he cans a 40 footer for 4. Thats what I meant by "What you do after a bad shot".
As for anything else mentioned, I do believe that emotions did get the best of some people later on in the round. To those golfers credit I believe that they tried to release thier anger/fustration in private away from the people following the card. Because I was JJ's caddy i did see it. I do not believe that it is appropriate for me to discuss it here. I will say this, I did not see/hear anything that I have not seen other Pro golfers do, and really i have seen much much worse.

Thanks to Kirk and crew for a superb tourney in NC!!!!!! It could not have been better!!!!!
What can we say? We moved down to N. Carolina with high expections. And they were blown out of the water. The level of golf is top notch and the people are the best. The memories are a mind full.

I want to thank Jennifer, Ashley, Jennifer (Yahn), Mike Norris, all of the players, all of the partiers, the sponsors ( Me, Mike Norris, Play It Again Sports, Felix Sung, Fins Feathers & Furs, Carlton & Terry, MTL, the Ript competitors, Dave Mansfield, All Star Bikes, Jay Pontier, Hawk Hollow, Innova, Discraft, DGA, Great Outdoor Provision Company, RADL, Jersey Mike's, Wake County Parks, Zebulon Park & Rec ).
Now for the bad stuff...Please keep your eyes open for the RADL Course Closed sign. RADL has had that sign for more than 20 years. We believe that some upset casual players stole the sign from Buckhorn. Also, someone stole Alan Beaver's PDGA banner and bungies.
Now for the really bad stuff...Y'all didn't leave a single beer at the house for the TD!!! I wish you could have heard me cussing when I got home.
