Folks, since Pease will get closed any day now ... :p
here's a rough map of the Kyle course - it's at least good enough to get you around the first time without spending 20 min. looking for #3

I took a 3 on #9 long the last time I was out there --- my shots each landed almost exactly where the lines bend on your map!

That is one tough hole if you try to shoot down the middle or hit an early tree.

Thanks, and done!

I played #9 the exact same way :) ... and then missed the putt

If your drive lands right, there's that sweet little annie alley for the upshot...

I really like that course - I think you said on an earlier post somewhere that footbridges would be nice, and I totally agree. Perhaps something to bring up at the next Waterloo meeting...

Within the next week or two there will be scorecards out by hole 1 with distances for all the various pin positions and from the short and long boxes. Sometime in May the tee signs will be installed. I was out there today trimming branches on 17, there is actually a fairway to the basket now!!!! enjoy.......

Eventually there will be two different layouts, the A and the B. This will be noted on the scorecards and the tee signs. Anyone playing once the tee signs and scorecards are in should be able to establish based on hole 1's pin position what layout the course is in. For those who will need even more clarification, we'll also be putting out an extra indicator on hole 1 that says "layout A or B".

There is still some tree trimming and small brush removal that will need to be done to allow the A and B setups. The next few months seem like a bad time to have a work day. Maybe late summer or fall..........

Directions:
Take Kyle exit 213 (Hwy 150). You will want to get to Hwy 150 going east from I-35. From the north you will have to go over bridge and go south on frontage until you get to the Valero gas station. At Valero from either direction go East on Hwy 150 for less than 1/4 mile and take a left on Lehman. After about 1/2 mile through a neighborhood you will see park and baskets on your left. Follow streets around to park entrance.

From an earlier Kyle thread, hope it helps.
