1:30pm Signup

1:45pm Brief Strategy Clinic
A guest speaker will be there to give a 15 minute clinic on the strategy of Doubles, in particular Worst Shot. A few basic concepts can save you several strokes. Use your mind, not just your arm.

2pm Round Starts

Format
24 holes (you guys need to get tough :D)
8 holes Worst Shot
8 holes Alternating
8 holes Singles

Worst Shot Holes:
10, 11, 11a, 11b, 11c, 12, 13, 14

Alternating Holes:
15, 15a, 15b, 15c, 16, 17, 22, 23

Singles Holes:
23a, 23b, 23c, 23d, 24, 25, 26, 27 to 28

Just to toughen things up and to make it a little more mentally challenging the 2 meter rule will apply as will all concrete be OB.

Cost: $10 per person
We can have whatever divisions are needed so come out and play.
Pro's are also welcome. I am looking for a partner.

I will have the brand new Innova Star T-REX available. Learn to throw this great disc and it will definatley save you a stroke or two in the wind. These first lot of discs will have the 1st run Star stamp.

Please help spread the word. Let's bring a Doubles Title back to Live Oak. I will have flyers out tonight at UC, then Thursday at LO.

See you all there,
Chris

Sorry guys I thought everyone played at UC on Tuesday nights now. I will be at LO around 4:30pm tonight if anyone wants a flyer or to play.

Dave I meant a "WORLD TITLE" :p. Or is that "a bunch of Texans paying a higher entry fee so we can call it a World Title" :o

I think this will be a great opportunity to get ready for (Texans paying a higher fee so we can call it) World Doubles.

Will partners be able to play together?

Yes of course. Bring your own partner is the idea. For anyone that doesn't come anyway and see you you can find. I am looking for a cute American girl for a partner, any ideas? :D
