Scoot er I've heard that Hasboro or possibly Mattel has purchased the rights to the Razor Sports M-7000 disc launcher. I've also heard through the grapevine that they plan on relaunching the new M-7000 in a carbon fibre version.

What have you heard? Any idea when the PDGA will make these things legal? Thanks again

oh yeah here's a pic of the original

I have heard about one of these and that some guy in OR was making them. I doubt they will be approved by the pdga because they are considered an artificial device and are prohibited in tournament play.

That thing looks like a hand held trebuchet for discs.

And Rhett wins a prize. That's all that it is. Although it won't hold a Wraith or Surge.

Yep, he was at the Beaver State Fling last year. IIRC it was not very easy to use -or- aim. If someone wanted to use one during a tourney I say let them... they'd shank 90% into the trees and it still won't help them putt :).

This is actually something from the early to mid 80's. I've heard of other manufaturers that have copied the idea but after some research this appears to be the 1st.

I've had it in my collection for almost 10 years now. And I've only seen 1 other. I did buy a used M-7000 Pro Disc off of ebay a few years back and tried it out. Very hard to control distance or accuracy but for someone who enjoys flying toys a neat addition.

Load it with old Lightning discs, grab the shotgun, and shoot some skeet.
