I had a chance to throw this disc for awhile today. Its made in a new plastic called Sirius. This disc is amazing! I was hitting about 470' with a beautiful fade at the end!

I love my Orion LS, but this new disc feels so nice in my hands.

In a couple of weeks the Orion LS will be out in the new Sirius plastic. I cant wait!

Isnt Sirius the same as Star plastic!?

I havent thrown any Star plastic, but you would think it was the same considering that Sirius is the brightest STAR in the sky. :D

Did it just say Millennium Golf Discs on it, and have Innova information under it?

I'm not sure why I'm asking this because the Orion LF is the only new disc from them, so I'm sure thats what you were throwing.

I guess they arent going to make Q-Plastic anymore. I Was looking forward to a Q-Orion LS, but after feeling this new plastic, Q can go away.

This Disc bombs!!! If there was one disc that would take me away from gateway it would be this disc. The new plastic feels just like gateway evolution plastic, this disc is fast and dead straight, idk what this lf means cause i threw this think about 430- 450' with about 20ft above the ground and basically a straight throw (tight little hyzer flip S) this is NOT message board distance, the conditions were about 38' no wind about -1' in elevation change. I threw a 173 and 170 and they flew about the same distance and same flight characteristics. I also through my spirits (beaten in) on big s curves and they were about 10' shorter than these orion lf's. the ls i had were flipping over a bit too much in the last 1/3 of their flight for me but this disc was sick. Its like a cfr tl on steroids.

what disc or discs would you say it compares to?"?"

i find the Orion LF comparable to a long range teebird. it is the fastest of the Millennium discs, very controllable, has enough over-stability even for the big arm players. once approved, this disc will be in the bag...Yeah Millennium. really like the feel of the new plastic.

frisbeepeacegirl? should read frisbeedescriptionstealergirl, I wonder who let me throw those orion lfs? To clear things up I would say this disc is stable like the cft tl's and will hold a hyzer, but is understable enough to flip up and go straight with a tiny bit of roll over when really ripped.

I'm pretty sure it is some form of Star plastic since it's part Innova.

Actually I think the Star plstic came from Millenium in some form and this is just the plastic satr was based off of. That is just what I have heard throught the grapevine from some Pros.

The few times I've thrown it, it has been very predicatable. I haven't really overpowered it yet, and that's a very good thing.

This new plastic by Millennium called Sirius is Awsome. My Orion Sirius has hit many many trees with little to no damage and is throwing straight and long and with this new plastic I seem to get a better grab which allows me to be able to perdict the flight pattern to a science. Thanks Millennium for make this disc in this awsome plastic. Now I just hope you use this sirius plastic and all your other disc

A few observations about the ones that I have thrown and seen others throw. I have had a 170 and 174 for about 2 weeks now and WOW.

I threw them for the first time a couple of weeks ago at the Victoria Tournament in Texas. No I didn't use them in the tourney, but I threw them between rounds. I was throwing them on # 6, which is long and wide open. During the 3 rounds that I played, I either threw a 164 ORC or a 161 Orion LS, or a combination of them both, for my first two shots. I consider myself an average thrower that constantly can throw 300 ft and can get them out to a max of about 375 with an ORION LS on occasion. I was always close to the little ditch with my second throw on all three rounds, but never over it and ended up with a four all three rounds.

Between the first and second round I took the SOLF's out and threw the hole. I am throwing RHBH and I parked the hole with the 170 on my second shot ( about 15-20 feet out) and was over the ditch and about 25-30 feet short with the 174. I have never made this hole in 3 before, but I think I would have with the SOLF's. By the way, I was throwing with the wind to my back or from the left and behind me.

I then started out to throw back and this time I was throwing against the wind or coming at me from the front and right. The 170 started flat and flipped maybe to a 10 degree right of the line of center. It came back to the line of center before settling on the ground in the fairway. The 174 never flipped, but held a straight line and fell to the left at the end, but not much. The second throw for both of them was almost a mirror image of the first except that maybe the 170 flipped a little more than the first time. If I would have throw the ORION LS, it would have flipped against the wind more than 30-35 feet off the fairway, and that is from experience.

I had thrown it several times in an open area during the week, but this past Sunday was the first time that I threw them in a competition. During Himing's Tour, I threw them pretty regular. I must say that they are nice and they can take a beating. They look as if they are still fresh out of the box. Chris Himing threw one and at 325 feet out it was moving at a great rate of speed, until it hit something and stopped. I am glad it hit something because the disc ended up pin high, and it it hadn't, it would have easily been 100 feet past.

The grip of the plastic is sweet, even in the cold and rain at the Victoria tournament, I didn't worry about losing my grip or it slipping, it will definately have a place in my bag.

The one thing that I really liked about it was that I could really get a good pull and let her rip, if I did that with the ORION LS, then she would flip easily. Both have a definate place in the bag, but for different situations.

Somebody asked earlier how they compared to other discs, for me...

a longer firebird, but not as much fade with the wind, but just as much against the wind. I like it better than the Wraith, but I have only thrown the Wraith a handful of times. I think it is longer than a Champion Starfire and more consistant. As for others, I cannot really compare to them, since I don't really throw any of the other new stuff.

I would say get one and try it out, I think you will like it.

ps...I know where all of the boxes that are full of these little gems are...nanny, nanny, boo, boo. :D:D

How is the durability on sirius plastic? is it like star for durability it feels maybe a little weaker but way grippier?

I haven't seen an appreciable difference in durability. I love 'em both.
