****.... nice to see some of my recordings circulating. For a little history of these two fine shows (Dougaroo & Dougaroo 2).... read on...... A good buddy of mine (Doug) has a cabin in Galax, Virginia and is a HUGE Railroad Earth fan. He first had them play at the cabin in October of 2002 (the original Dougaroo) for a party and it was a great time. They played a few electric sets from the cabin of the porch and then played an unamplified acoustic set around the campfire. In September of 2004 they played a second time and once again a large time was had by all in attendance (just ask Ant Roe.... he was the only disc golfer other than myself that was there). Anyway..... if you want to see some pictures of the original Dougaroo.... surf on over to:
http://www.mindspring.com/~goheels/dougaroo.html
And if anybody needs copies of these two fine shows.... drop me a PM and I'll b&p them for you. Both are sweet soundboard recordings that take 3 cd's. The campfire sets are audience recordings and require and additional cd.

Unfortunately it looks like I won't be making this years Festival & Tournament in Asheville. Ya'll have fun!!!!

just talked to schweb

skins started late so some of the holes were not able to be played

J-Bird was the big winner with like 650 in winnings - Schwebby got 250

not sure about the other two (Alan Marx and Tim Barr)

Let's give some props to Jeremy Bond for coming from behind to take the advanced crown. I believe this was his first win. WTG JB!

Thanks to everyone who helped put this tourney on, especially all the volunteers who braved the elements with us to spot Sunday morning. I had a blast getting to play in the skins on Saturday night, and the new basket is going straight to the "Dark Nine". Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Guthrie-Murphy for the hospitality and live entertainment 24/7.

And one last shout out to the Urinator, you know who you are! :o

Open
1st Schweb
2nd J-Bird & Tim Barr
4th Slim Pickens (1st pro cash)
5th Hofmann
6th Johanson & Blane Light
8th Tic Tac
9th Sjur
10th GTW

Josh Watson - Intermediate winner, his score beat the rest of the pros and all the advance players.

Advance
1st Jeremy Bond

Wish I could have played better on Saturday but Urination problems got the best of me, and 2 1/2 hrs of sleep is not a good formula for good golf. Thanks to Donnie and Jill for putting me up for the weekend.

I stayed off this thread and decided not to come to the tournament for personal reasons - someone mentioned my name so I said something...
