in the approved discs specs there are 2 colmuns which i was wondering what they mean, pretain to and what signifnifance they truely have? the rim configuration rating and the flexibilty rating.

ok so that told me how they were tested but what do these ratios/ratings mean as far as the disc goes? or rather what signifiance do they have to how the disc works?

They don�t say much about how the individual disc works, but the rim configuration rating shows how sharp the edge is, the value can give you a hint to what sort of disc it is, for example;
Putters are often blunt (55 or more).The same with approach discs, they often have a blunt to semi sharp profile, (50 and more).Midrange drivers semi sharp profiles, between 35 and 55.And last but not least the long range drivers, they have a sharp edge and normally the value is less then 35.
The flexibility rating says nothing about how the disc works, it show just how soft the hardest version of the plastic is. Hint:
Low number= gummy plastic= putter, high number= stiffer plastic= drivers :p?
