I think the organization exists. If not, there is certainly a crying need for it. We've all seen the symptoms in "friends" or "family". The broken homes........ And with the recent advent of tempting morsels in rainbow colors and perma-plastic....well, I need help. Plastic Addicts Anonymous.
Hello, my name is James.
I don't need a group like that! I like to buy plastic. It relaxes me. Besides, I can stop any time I want!

1. We admitted we were birdieless over our game. That our scores have become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Thrower greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to not turn over our drives into the woods.
4. Made a searching and fearless disc inventory of ourselves, and others.
5. Admitted to the Thrower, to ourselves and to another discer the exact nature of our shanks.
6. Were entirely ready to have the Thrower remove all the shanks of our game.
7. Humbly asked the Thrower to remove our grip-lock.
8. Made a list of all our bogies, and became willing to turn them into birdies.
9. Made direct putts to such pole-holes whenever possible, except when to do so would injure plant life.
10. Continued to take disc inventory and when we were wrong about a first run CE Valk, we promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through throwing and meditation to improve our conscious contact with the Thrower as we understood the Thrower, praying only for knowledge of the Thrower's will for us and the power to carry 350' of water.
12. Having had a throwing awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice putting principles in all our affairs.

here are a few divinely inspired quotes that have helped me in times of need:
was man made for plastic discs or were plastic discs made for man?
consider the putts of world champions, they neither toil nor fear, yet even visualized gimmes are not as beautiful as these.
do not put off till tomorrow the putts you can practice today
the course is my shepherd, i shall not want

I would like to make a confession. When i started disc golfing, i told myself to avoid Rocs because they were too addictive and too expensive a habit for a guy of my income. Last Fall i traded for an SB Roc and now I'm a TOTAL ADDICT! Already working on getting rid of my stash of plastic to get back-up SB Rocs -- sometimes trading 3 or 4 for 1 disc. But my second vow to not buy an expensive Roc for cash so far has been kept. Just saw the new USDGC Roc stamps and i feel WEAK! :o
Just wanted to get that off my chest. Now i feel better. :D...
Not! :p

Rob J, I feel your pain. The first step, of course, is admitting that a problem exists. You have come to the right place for help. I can make you quite a deal on either red or blue SB Rocs, max weight, pristine. Cash money only, no trades. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif How's that? :D

I'd have to double check, but the C* (star) were the Canadian disc's. The DGA #d discs were not C*'s. The C* I have is from the Worlds in Toronto and the ones with the Whamo splash stamp.
