It wasn't a joke. I sold my house and have $50 k to play with before I drink it all on beer. My brother says stocks are good. Never bought a stock in my life, don't even know what to do with a stock if I had one. Do I frame it or just put it in my scrap book?

But I figure I'd get in on the ground floor when Innova goes public and hits the market floor, all the big stock brokers in their suits on Wall Street, who never heard of disc golf, would not invest, and I'd be the only one "in the know" about disc golf, and get them at a bargain basement price, corner the market, and then laugh at the greedy Wall Street pigs who shrug their shoulders at the performance of the stock as it splits 3 times in the first year, and look for some to buy, and I say "you want some, I have them, but I have ALL of them, so I set the price."

In 10 years they'll go blue chip, and I'll be sailing in my 300 foot yacht with Paul Allen.

I worked on Wall Street for 2 years...as an optometrist. Actually on Nassau St only 1 block from the corner of Wall and Exchange. Lots of my patients were brokers so I learned the lingo.

Are you serious about investing in a disc golf company?
We ( Gateway) have been putting togther the paperwork to sell a percentage of our company off to private investors.
It will not be the same as going public but you would still end up making a few bucks by being on the ground floor.
PS I wouldnt hold your breath on Innova going public.

The Thing w/ guitars they were made to be played, If you are only buying for investment it is such a waste....

How big (or small) a percentage of Gateway are you wanting to sell to private investors? What would be the buy in?

I'm thinking....

...OK I've got it. I will purchase 10% of Gateway if they sponsor me on tour with the condition that I never have to actually win any tournaments or even cash, or have to be nice to the gallery, but keep sponsoring me anyway, and let me drink beer on tour, wear collarless shirts, for the rest of my life, and after I die they get the 10% back.
