Just got photo tours of the Highbridge Hills disc golf courses on the web. These are the four courses used for the US Mid-Nationals and for the all new disc sports Camp DISCover U this summer. Check it out at HHSC Course Tours (http://www.campdiscoveru.com/hhsccourses.htm)

To be honest, this is not really much of a "photo tour." This is merely a collection of random photos from the courses, and without more than one picture from each hole, you hardly get a feel for any of the holes.

Gotta Go Gotta Throw sells a DVD tour of the Highbridge courses. I highly recommend anyone that is interested in attending the Mid-Nationals or is considering visiting Highbridge for some casual play to check this out.

The DVD is definitely more of an in-depth tour, especially for those who get into course design. However, the DVD doesn't have some of the newer higher resolution photos from 2005 included here. Of course, this tour was more to give a taste of Highbridge for those who might be interested in coming to the kids camp or Mid-Nats.

We're introducing a course layout rotation schedule at Highbridge this season. One or two of the three courses with alternate pins will have about six pins changed every Sunday morning during the season from May thru October. This way, visitors will have the chance to see more than one layout on a course each weekend they visit.

The Highbridge rotation schedule is now online and you can check it out at: www.highbridgehillssc.com/disc.html (http://www.highbridgehillssc.com/disc.html) Then, click on the schedule link: www.highbridgehillssc.com/images/CourseSchedule.pdf (http://www.highbridgehillssc.com/images/CourseSchedule.pdf) on the middle right side of the page. Players can plan when to visit based on their favorite layouts or when their favorite courses are mostly long or short.

The layout details for each named course layout is available by clicking on it. Having a limited set of standard layouts for each course when thousands of pin combinations are possible makes it easier for players to develop favorites and to maintain records that players can reference. We're still working on the layout names but you can see the theme for each course we're trying to maintain.
