Mike is dealing with the Buckhorn PayPal right now. That payment option will be up soon.
All, Take a tip from Craig. If you have the coin now, pop it in the mail.
Craig, it will take only two days to get here from C-town. Barring a delay for MLK Day.

PayPal is now available for the Crosstown!!
www.radl.biz (http://www.radl.biz)
I have tried to set up the policy for paypal such that mailed entries will have an equal chance to get in.
Your entry must be received by 5:00 PM EST to be considered received on that day. All mail entries and paypal entries will be processed at the same time daily. Should the event fill all paypal entries and mailed entries will be put into a "hat" and randomly chosen to determine who gets in.

ok We are now at 62 entrants with several more paypal entries that I received after 5:00 today.
These will be processed tomorrow.
If Buckhorn is any indication on how quickly the last 30 spots will fill up then you might want to get your entry in ASAP if you plan to play this event.
If you are paying via paypal make sure that you read the directions on the page before clicking Buy now. We have had to deny several payments initially due to information that was not included.

The fish are schoolin'... FINS UP!
i actually got my money in on time.....which cedar hills course will we be playing??? this is a championship tourney....will it be the championship course or will it be some alteration of it?
mikenorris
Feb 21 2006, 10:16 PM
We will be playing the championship course at cedar hills or the orginal pin placements. I believe all long pads will be used for all divisions but I am not positive on that issue.
And we now have less than 10 spots remaining for this event. Get your money in ASAP if you are planning to play.
mikenorris
Feb 23 2006, 09:43 AM
There are 7 spots remaining currently. If you are paying via paypal make sure you read the entire paypal page before submitting payment.
If you do not follow the directions you may not get in!!!!!!
Only those payments with the information required by the TD will be accepted.

Feb 24 2006, 11:51 PM
FYI to end the speculation, we will play Cedar Hills in the Championship positions (not Gold placements or Gold tees)and we will use the progressive drop zones on hole 8 for all divisions.
I have asked the course Pro, Neil to move the baskets for those who wish to practice the course. If they have not been moved by Monday, I'll do it then.
Those of you who know or play Cedar often, go play Zebulon. You might need it.

Capt., I have an inquiry in with the registrar Mike as to the status of the field. I feel confident that we are full, but I am waiting for him.

OB at Zebulon:
The creek is strung off on holes 1, 2, and 6.
The batting cages are OB on holes 12 and 16.
Also on 16 there is string OB past the basket(edge of park)
Hole 18 the creek that runs under the bridge is OB.
If anymore OB is added, it would be the area in front of the mound on hole 4(but that is roped off when there is a lot of water there) and the area to the right of 14s basket/front of 15's tee...but that is only when there is a lot of water there
kadiddlhopper
Mar 08 2006, 08:06 PM
I presume the outfield fence on 3 as well, most of the old/existing string is missing or tattered...
Plankeye
Mar 08 2006, 08:34 PM
Yes....
and the baseball field on hole 16 and basketball court on 17, but i figured that was pretty obvious
Also the parking lot on hole 16 is OB...
kadiddlhopper
Mar 08 2006, 08:40 PM
But not left of the road on hole 3 or over the road on 12? Should we just play water or run more string on the creeks?
MTL21676
Mar 08 2006, 09:27 PM
The road is never out of bounds. Any part of the road, including on it, is in bounds. This includes both 12 and 3.
Usually the creeks are strung off. The one on 6 is right on the edge of the cliff. 1 is a little worse - usually a bigger area than the creek.
On 18, there are "2" creeks. The one running down the hole north to south is in bounds. The creek that it connects to running east to west if out of bounds. There is a string that is usually put up there to determine where the bottom of the left to right creek is. It's probably the stupidest thing on the course - just make it all out or all safe, but whatever.
I will be spotting on that hole during the rounds to help with any confussion and watch all those discs fly near the basket!
Plankeye
Mar 08 2006, 10:54 PM
The only reason why i heard that part of the creek is OB on hole 18 is because part of it is a creek, the other part is a drainage ditch and a lot of the time there isn't enough water to cover the rocs that are present in that creek.
scottfaison

A creek full of rocs??? Its a river of gold...maybe there are some old 01 CEs in that creek...maybe I need to go pan that creek..unless you meant rocks then forget that..who needs some old minerals
right there with you, BeRD. Buckhorn is usually my 1st event of the season, but i dicked around and it sold out on me. i'm really looking forward to this years Crosstown.
i lost a ce eagle on 5 over the weekend at cedar. if anyone has found it PLEASE let me know. it kicked left and got burried under the leaves. biggs and i spent 20 minutes looking for it but no luck. if someone has come across it please let me know!
