Who is holding back? I know there are plenty of artists who have ideas they would love to see on USDGC STAR ROCs. There are only 4 days left! Get cracking!
Artwork Contest - The 2006 Champion Roc
The United States Championship continues to grow each year, largely due to the Champion Roc fundraising campaign. Purchasers of USDGC Rocs are the essential supporters of this event.
In 2005, Rocs sales opened the door to more than $30K in charitable and non-profit contributions. EDGE, the Educational Disc Golf Experience, was the primary beneficiary, receiving $25K to further disc golf programming in schools around the country.
This year we hope to further build momentum and need your help. Innova and the USDGC are opening the doors for you to design the artwork for these special discs. The official release date for the 2006 Champion Roc is March 1, 2006. Artwork submissions are now being accepted.
Each artist whose piece is chosen will receive:
-Recognition at innovadiscs.com and usdgc.com
-Artist's credit included in design
-First, pressed disc with his/her design
To participate:
-Artwork submissions should comply with standard hot stamping guidelines (http://www.innovadiscs.com/discs/artworknotes.html)
-Electronic submissions to custom@innovadiscgolf.com
-Hard copy submissions to USDGC, 2850 Commerce Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29730
-Up to 4 designs will be accepted for 2006
-All submissions should be accompanied by a brief write up about the artist�s design/inspiration (a paragraph or two is sufficient)
