I have been jotting down notes for over a year about ideas for a disc golf video game. I know that there was a PC game put out a few years ago, but my ideas mirror the format that a Tigers Woods style game follows. Multi-player formats with the ability to play with or as the games top pros, masters, ladies, legends, ETC. My notes also play with the idea of course creation, fantasy 4-somes, fantasy course layouts, a PDGA tour format, along with blended footage of real clips throughout the game.
Has anyone heard any rumblings of a possible disc golf video game? I would be interested in hearing some ideas or if there is a game idea in the works I would like to share some of the ideas that I have put down on paper. My cousins have gotten into a paint ball game for Xbox that they say is really cool and I find it hard to believe that none of the gaming creators have done the same for disc golf.

Two games came out at once: Whamo Frisbee Golf and Innova Disc Golf.
The Whamo game was utter garbage. The Innova game was decent, but it had dated graphics. A lot of people called the Innova game garbage because it's graphics were 2 years behind the current gen PGA Tour game, but the Innova game itself wasn't too bad.
Neither game sold worth a darn. I mean pretty much dead zero sales. WalMart actually carried it and the game was marked down to $5 within three weeks of launch. That quick means that it was selling zilch.
That's the history. Video games, like movies, rely a lot of derivative work these days. That means there isn't much hope of a game studio and publisher funding new development on a game with such a lousy track record of sales.
I wish it weren't true.
WizardWorks made the Innova game, I believe.

May be soon there could be hope, i saw they are finally coming out with a college baseball game by EA which is awsome, but to bad i stoped playing ball almost ten years ago.
**** I am getting old. Then agian maybe not soon, unless we know any discgolers that can do computer graphics for a living.

Take 2 Interactive bought the exclusive rights to Major League Baseball game production in response to EA buying the exclusive rights to NFL football game production.
Therefore EA cannot produce an MLB baseball game.
Unfortunately Take2 couldn't match EA by buying up the NCAA baseball rights like EA did with NCAA football.
What I'm saying is that EA is not making a college baseball game because there was a demand for it. They simply took their pro baseball game and put it in a college wrapper because of the exclusive rights deal.
