i've noticed a big difference in the grips of the colors...
From all the colors i have and 2 differnt star molds and 2 different SB molds (SW,TB,SB Roc, and SB orc) I have to say that red seems to be the most tacky so far and white the least.

I have a green Star Tbird that is perfect. Grippy but not sticky. And it's purdy too.

I'm able to throw the Star plastic , better , when the conditions are wet outside.

I opened this thread and thought to myself immediately that if anybody said the red was the most grippy color... I'd agree with the entire idea of it.

My red sidewinder is, according to a couple of other local players, the most grippy disc they have ever felt. One guy said it felt like the disc reached out and grabbed him.

My white TeeBird definitely isn't near as grippy as the red SideWinder.

I've got a hot pink sidewinder, which i expect was run between the white and red, and it's definatly more grippy than the the white teebird I own. I've also got a black socal star teebird, and it feels less grippy than my pink, but moreso than the white. But the black teebird is still in the bag, and I've noticed both my pink and white star discs have gotten more grippy the more I play with them.

One thing that I have noticed about the Star plastic and color differences is that it can vary from person to person. We had one disc in particular (white) that felt super tacky to one guy and slick to another. Red and black feel least grippy to me personally, while white, blue, orange, and pink feel the best to me. I have also noticed that, at least for some people, the discs tend to get stickier as they are played with. YMMV (YourMileageMayVary)
