Who is coming to Sin City for this? The park is making some landscape adjustments. Should make a few holes a little tighter. It may affect a few pin placements

Reminder. This is a three-day, assigned tee times, tournament. A 12-hole mini course will be set up to keep people busy while they are waiting for the tee assignments. Go to lvdiscgolf.com for more information. I will start to post more information as appropriate.

Will the course be set-up like it was last year for the GCC?

I didn't play that well last year due to recovering from a torn rotator, but last years set-up was very nice and everyone there were great hosts. I am looking forward to another great time.

Thanks for what you guys do!

5 new teed pads. I heard more may be done by the tournament. As all our Las Vegas tournaments, if the tee-pad is slippery and unsafe, you may drive directly behind (within 3 meters) of the provided tee-pad.

The course is much harder because of a bordered xeriscaping around the park boundaries just consturcted!!! 18 holes for Juniors and Novice, and maybe even Intermediate Women. Likely 24 holes for everyone else..but maybe 27.

Ace pool for each day. The longest ace (base don the distances on the course map) wins a Inova chain mini basket.

Beer is allowed in the park, but not during your official PDGA round!!! So, you can realy enjoy the 12-hole mini course!!!

No camping at the park.

35 players signed up to date. Mostly Pros so far. My buddy and I have a side-bet for $100 (which goes into the tournament...of course) if more than 135 players sign up. We easily have room for 172 players.

No madatory player's meeting. Course rules/o.b.s will be available via a course map. The 2-meter rules IS i effect!!! Key PDGA rules will also be highlighted in writing in the player's package. You are responsible for knowing the PDGA and course rules.

Players packages will be available for pick up from Noon to 5 PM at Sunset Park on Thursday. You can also pick them up before you tee-off on Friday.

Am awards will likely occur right after the Ams finish up on Sunday. Raffle will not occur until the Pros finsh up on Sunday. So, if you are am Am and plan on leaving early on Sunday, make sure you leave your raffle tickets with someone who sticks around until the end. Raffle includes a Innova Basket, and Innova mini chain basket, $100 bill, a framed set of 30 or so tournament minis, and many...many other items (probably over $800 in stuff).

Any other Questions?

Gentlemens club is starting to fill up quick. Jeff told us he is going to have 5 womens divisions and already some 1000+ rated players signed up.

The stamps are going to be killer:
Wraiths with a ladies stamp
Starfires with a Las Vegas Drive Carefully stamp
Rocs and Aviars with a Las Vegas Welcome stamp

now heres a question: Friday, February 24- doesn't that mean I have to miss some schooling? Too bad :(

also, what if I want to draw my own teesign? Is that possible; I'll still pay the 30 bucks. I would just feel better If I drew it, (meet my artistic demand). If not, I guess that's ok.

so... I guess no response means we can't sign up in person? I've already mailed my entry, should be arriving in the next couple days if it hasn't already. My buddy, though, lives in LV. would be silly of him to mail it if he can just turn it in at any local mini. Did make any mini's, so that why it is just easier for people to mail entries. Now, because Monday is a Holiday, they will have to drop it by my house.

Going to be colder than normal here in Vegas. High of 69. (Warm for east-coast players, cold for us local boys!)

Over 110 entries. Looks like we will be adding over $4,000 to the tournament...if I sell all the Innova CFR discs!
